Re: dxgi error device removed...
As for me, I've never run more than one software at a time, since it doesn't make sense. But yes, as much as it might sound awkward, many people prefer to run other brand's software since it's considered to be more complete and stable, with great success. As to my experience, I'd been running these ...

Re: dxgi error device removed...
I apparently solved this issue in my rig by not running the video card's software. I used to run both EVGA and MSI ones, the so called best ones.

Re: Kernelbase.dll crash
I've been having occasional KERNELBASE.DLL CTDs when flying in P3Dv4, and apparently it's related to some misbehaving airport sceneries (or regions). Whenever it happens, I try to change the scenery order and do other changes, and usually it solves the issue FOR THAT specific area, until it happens ...

Re: CTD - "a problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows."
Hello Jorgen, As for the Windows update, I had just done that prior to the simulation session. There was an update available, which was installed normally. After that no other updates were on the list. As for the other Microsoft products updating, this is my personal choice to always keep it on, des...

Re: CTD - "a problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows."
Having this same kind of issue occasionally, had one just a few moments ago. Error message in Event Viewer refers to application stopped responding to Windows. Source Prepar3D exe Summary Stopped responding and was closed Date 2021-04-10 08:12 Status Report sent Description A problem caused this ...

Re: Scenery auto reload and p3dv4.5hf2 radius self-modified!?
Also seeing this issue for the last several flights. Totally repeatable, happens every few minutes (after I put back the LOD Radius setting to MAX, the far right). Flying the FSL A320 recently.
Any solution for this? BTW, I use v4 HF2.

Re: [P3D 4.5 HF1] Sim reduces the LOD radius by one notch, forcing a reload while flying the PMDG748.
Hello, Currently using v4 HF2 and having this problem quite frequently, the simulator refuses to maintain my saved profile, which has LOD Radius setting to the maximum (far right). During the flight it will always reduce one notch and will force a terrain data reload, which is very annoying. Could y...

Re: terrain.dll causing CTD
Did you have any success resolving this? I'm also getting consistent CTDs when flying in the middle of Europe. Same thing, Event Viewer says TERRAIN.DLL

Re: P3D V4.5 Terrain.dll CTD
I'm trying to fly a specific route and getting a consistent CTD (TERRAIN.DLL) when I reach a point of the route, in the middle of the EU continent, nearby south of Germany. I've got these CTDs earlier as well, possibly in a location somewhat near the location of the current CTD. My Orbx installation...

You can count me in. Again with DXGI DEVICE HUNG issues everytime I'm starting to taxi my Triple Seven at dusk. P3D v4.5 HotFix Edition, nVIdia driver very latest as of today (tried the previous one too). Video card is a 1080TI.

Re: 1/2 Refresh Rate Vsync
It does NOT work, unfortunately. This is because P3D v4.x is not a real full screen application. FSX, on the other hand, had it work flawlessly and it really provided a smooth experience. Now, I would like to take the opportunity and ask LM developers why P3D v4.x is not a real full screen applicati...

Re: P3D CTD facilities.dll out of nowhere
Unlikely. When I last flew it, just after the flight ended I closed P3D and turned off the PC. It was about 20 days ago. Then today I turned it on and tried loading P3D right away, it couldn't have given time for Windows to update, I suppose. The CTD only happens if I click ANY of the weather preset...

P3D CTD facilities.dll out of nowhere
I had been using P3D v4.3 successfully for many sessions, until I ended my fight, closed it and went into vacations. Then today I turned on my PC and loaded P3D just to see it CTD when I'm at opening screen (flight selection), whenever I click any weather presets then BOOM, it crashes. Again, I chan...

Re: 8700k / GTX 1080 - curved monitor question
I use this cooler: https://www.arctic.ac/worldwide_en/liquid-freezer-240.html It's pretty much underrated for sure, but I wouldn't change it for nothing. My CPU isn't even dellided and the most I get flying P3D is 85 degrees in the summer (I live in Rio de Janeiro and temps may get as high as 43 deg...

Re: 8700k / GTX 1080 - curved monitor question
I upgraded from FullHD 27 inches to 4k 55 inches and will never go back. 8700K 5 GHz and 1080TI overclocked but the thing is, the video card can't cope the most heavy situations, such as some cloud combinations and heavy and/or non-optimized sceneries. In these situations frame rate will be pretty p...
