Sadly, LM haven't included any float planes as default aircraft.
Bearing in mind I do all my flying in the Mooney [not glass cockpit], can anyone recommend any float plane addons for P3D?

I can't help you, sadly.
But, hopefully the info you require is forthcoming.
A 'better' Logbook is a good idea.

I flew up to the Faroe Islands [from EGCC] to see if P3D mapped the eclipse.
After a refuel, I took off an hour before first contact, cleared the cloudbase and broke out the butties whilst waiting for the spectacle.
Sadly, nothing!
Ah well.

Clearly ATC window issues have been exorcising a lot of P3D users for some time.
