Re: V6?

I had the much-vaunted MSFS on my system for a total of 30 minutes 30 minutes? Really? Clearly you haven't tried any planes like the PMDG 737 or the Fenix A320. Because of this "arcade" Austin started doing XP12 urgently and LM v6. XP12 has already lost, let's see what happens with P3D. a...

Re: V6?

Yes, V6 is around the corner but the P3D market is basically dead Exactly. I can't imagine HOW the v6 developers would have to twist to get back the audience that has now moved to MSFS. That includes me. Bug response time, patch release frequency, transparency of future features - LM is hopelessly ...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

I corrected problems with low visibility. There is a very fine difference in parameters between the dark horizon and the amount of haze. If you find a test case with the horizon showing let me know. For your convenience the patched file it is included in "PostProcess/HDR.hlsl" . Unfortuna...

I noticed that the sim has started to freeze (consistently) every 55 seconds, or so
I would hazard a guess that there is a conflict with an external monitoring software.

Re: Anti-Aliasing is much worse in v5.3... This is ridiculous.

I see P3d poste everyday on facebook and many people moved away from p3d to go to mfs because of the better graphics . Its very visible on every picture that the community posts . It's hard to argue with that, Asobo did a great job, but I think P3D is quite competitive if the developers weren't so ...

Re: Anti-Aliasing is much worse in v5.3... This is ridiculous.

This still occurs at 2K and 4K resolutions. The higher in resolution you go the less AA you need so it appears to be less noticeable. The AA problem is still there even at those higher resolutions as I've already tested it myself. You need to have eagle eyes to spot it. I have a 32" 2K monitor...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

Or perhaps with what is happening in Ukraine, the importance of a flight sim pales into insignificance Except that his last visit to the forum was yesterday, and there were no comments. Also, he is the author of the dark cockpit shader edit in the corresponding thread, there too, silence. Do conclu...

Re: Lack of ozone contribution in EA sky

I have an idea why the author disappeared and did not write anything more. It's simple enough - since inibuilds announced the creation of their shader editor, with settings similar to what was published here, the author was either asked or buy it. So as not to interfere with the release of a commerc...

Re: v5.2 sepia snow colour

DCS uses the same EA technology, but there all is normal with the lighting. Not to mention MSFS, there is excellent lighting, and the snow is white. So, everything can be adjusted, if you want to. But even to make normal shadows in the default atmosphere for some reason has become an impossible task...

Version 5.3, nothing has changed. In EA, the color of the snow is still the color of coffee and milk.

Change the zoom algorithm when RMB pressed

The overview with the right mouse button is very convenient and you could say thank you to the programmers, if it were not for one "but". If the focus when zooming falls on any vernier, then instead of zooming we get its rotation. I suggest to change the overview algorithm and block any ke...

v5.2 combination PBR+O:Weather.AmbientPrecipState NOT WORK

I always believed that the developers from LM, although they do not always respond to messages, at least secretly fix bugs for the release of a new version of the simulator. But this bug has been going on since version 4, maybe it's time to finally pay attention to it? А problem with the combination...

Re: Depth buffer access from P3D post-processing system

Hello. It clearly doesn't look like a depth buffer. When I experimented with reshade, I had to use a separate plugin to see what the picture should actually look like with the correct buffer. Unfortunately, I do not remember its name.

Re: LUA scripts and PBR material problems

I'll bring up an old topic. I have a one-to-one situation, as the topicstarter described. When you set the PBR flag in the material properties, the scripts stop working. I've been trying to figure out the reason for several days now. I completely copied the properties of the material from the workin...
