Re: No Muzzle Flash Effects On Clients

Hi Clifton

The effects file mismatch has now been resolved and I get muzzle flash on the clients but only while the aircraft is on the ground. I still get the effect on the master while airborne but not on the clients.

Thanks
Richie

No Muzzle Flash Effects On Clients

Hi After solving my gun attachment problem a new one has emerged. I’m running an 8 PC multichannel system. All guns and effects are working correctly on the Host PC but I get no muzzle flash effects on the clients. Is this a known problem or have I missed something? I’ve added Attachments and GunSys...

Re: Gun Attachment

Hi Clifton

Yes, the gun loadout "Basic Gun" is in the Aircraft.cfg, Flightsim 0. I don't know if this has any significance but I'm running the sim in Multichannel.

Re: Gun Attachment

Hi Rob

No, there are no errors on shutdown. I don't get the weapon system information in the bottom right corner either but if I add the F16 Attachments.xml and Gunsystem I get the info. I just can't see where I'm going wrong in my own xml files.

Thanks

Re: Multi-Channel advise

Hi Set FrameSync=60 in the Network.cfg on the master, set Unlimited FPS in P3D on master and all clients, all other settings (resolution, AA, scenery etc.) to minimum on the master. I'm running an 8 PC network with 7 projectors, and frame rate is averaging 60 with A2A Spitfire, ORBX scenery and Skyf...

Zoom On Multichannel Clients

Hi

Is there a zoom restriction on clients in multichannel? I can’t seem to get Initial Zoom above 1.5 in the Camera config on the clients.

Re: Multi-Channel Performance

Hi Fred

It’s working well. I’m running an 8 PC setup, 1 controller with 7 clients all i7 6700k(4.5ghz OC)/GTX 1080/Dual SSD and all clients are 60fps with ORBX England/Wales/Scotland, REX 4 and a bespoke A2A Spitfire.

<t>Hi Beau<br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> I read a post you made recently explaining you use one GPU per display because V2 doesn't support multi-channel. I'm planning on running 3x GTX 680s in my main PC for 3 or 5 undocked views and then run Panel Builder on a second networked PC for the avionics. Are you...
