Re: Differences in Software
Pro Plus allows you to load out the aircraft using the weapons config file along with other files which describe the load. You can get a good handle on how to make these changes if you look at the SDK. Look for weapons. You can then write XML or Lua files to read/set the LVars which are associated w...

Re: Lockheed Martin Wake up !!!
It's not just the non-military base! My home sim is a hybrid military helicopter. OK, but still I'm a home user not the military. I run P3D Professional Plus because of the weapons (and supporting systems). No other system (other than DCS) can begin to compete with P3D for this level of scenario dev...

[RESOLVED] List of pre-built weapons
I have the complete weapons, guns and countermeasures systems running on my helicopter. No issues. Is there a listing of existing (prebuilt) weapons, guns and countermeasures?. For example the Sidewinder missile is pre-defined, but how do I know the names of other pre-defined weapons and such? And w...

View Groups is the only true way to go. There are many tutorials online showing how to set them up.

Re: Thrustmaster Hotas Cougar not working on P3D v.5.3.17xxx
Why are folks posting accessory equipment driver issues on the Lockheed site. This is not a P3D problem, it's a Thrustmaster problem!

Re: A way to empty the Keys & Axis assignments
Just deleting the file may invoke P3D to reload a default new one with assignments.
I would suggest a one-time manual deletion, then save the config file. Then if you do need an empty file again just reload it via the menus.

Re: Helicopter on P3D
Did the example profile match the helo model you loaded? The profiles are helicopter specific and you may need to tune them. Another alternative is the AW-139 from Marco Ferrarello in Italy. He has an excellent engine and flight model that does not need (as in don't use) HTR with it. I have a full s...

Re: Switch between academic and professional licenses of P3dv5
I think that may be slightly incorrect. Doesn't DCS look at the license and fail if it is a professional version?
You could install both versions in different directories. For example, I have two copies of the academic version since some addons only work in earlier versions.

Re: Attack Helicopter
There are many attack helicopter addons that are available from 3rd party developers. I can't imagine that Lockheed will be developing any. Check the AVSIM library or vendors for these. If you are new to P3D you may want to look at DCS as an alternative since they have great combat game play and sup...

Re: Rudder axis 'Digital'.
You need to isolate the problem. Does this happen if you switch machines? Are you running something like FSUIPC and that my be interfering? Does this happen with more than one joystick? In the controls section of P3D, is the axis for rudder assigned correctly? Then you could determine if it is a P3D...

Re: Can't get the R22 or the Blackhawk to lift off
Sorry, a complete reply would be: Cyclic - joystick axis (pitch roll axis) Throttle - Prop axis Collective - Throttle axis Anti-Torque - rudder axis Hope that helps. But please note, very few add-ons simulate the throttle correctly. They tend to model the engine at 100% all the time. You have to go ...
