Re: GTX1080 not performing as expected
The best advise I heard was: turn off the window that shows fps... That may sound silly or even rude, but there is some truth in it. If you focus on fps instead of flying you will notice disturbing facts, You have just found what you were looking for. However, the fps that P3D and all the FS'ses sho...

Re: ntdll.dll
Some things you can try: run a programm like Glary Utilities [free] or any other registry cleaner. Reinstall your video drivers, in NVidia you should choose: fresh install. Check if things work now, if not try: Run a virusscanner and a malware scanner. Run scandisc. Sometimes problems such as this a...

Re: Jim stays behind at an Airport.. Avatar is going missed
Hi Mike, Sorry for the late reply. I've done some testing the way you sugested. Default, in out of aircraft. Change aircraft. Done a flight aroud the airport landed, well crashed actually, after which the sim reloaded. But the avatar was still there. Did a circle around the airbase, landed, Avatar =...

Re: Slewing issues....!!?!
press P to stop the sim; press Y; select the airport where you want to start from. I think that would do the trick
or just select the airport [choose a runway] the moment you're in, inmediately press Y. Y is a toggle command. Then choose the preffered starting place for your flight.

Re: Jim stays behind at an Airport.. Avatar is going missed
I will have a look at the other avatars, thanks.
From LM I would kindly request a soultion for comming updates to be able to re attach Jim to the plane, that would be nice.

Re: Jim stays behind at an Airport.. Avatar is going missed
No problem Einherz if you thought it was funny. It was written in a bit light harted way so... You could be right that Jim the Avatar stayed behind on an airport. Just too far out from the aircraft. I never saw any message about re-attaching Jim to my aircraft though. What puzzeles me also is, when ...

Re: Jim stays behind at an Airport.. Avatar is going missed
p.s I use orbx global and landclass, use asn and I fly 99% in Europe. I am quite shure that it must be related to aircraft switching. But as said, I just don't know when it happens. It just suddenly has happend

Re: Jim stays behind at an Airport.. Avatar is going missed
What I ment to say is, that the Avatar is just gone. No way to get "him"back. I do not think it has to do with a certain airplane. I fly the MJC Q400 most of the time. Could it be that, if you switch aircraft a couple of times, something can go wrong? maybe switching in short succesion? It...

Re: Hour is not sincronize
P3D and X run out of sinc and sinc programms will make your simulation pause for a moment. at least the one i used one time. the option should be improved in the sim. Maybe set the sim 1/100 faster in time.

Jim stays behind at an Airport.. Avatar is going missed
Maybe I’m missing out on something. But my Avatar, I Call him Jim, seems to get lost at airports and misses the plane. I have to throw away the CFG to get Jim back [and have to reset everything againg in the options menu. What am I doing wrong to lose the connection between the aircraft and the male...

P3D lights
Hi there, I've noticed following: in outside vieuw, at night, switching on the Landinglights, turns off the lights at the passengers windows of the Majestic Q400 pro. The same goes for the lit stairs. I also noticed while composing this message, that turning on the LL, also turns off the AI window l...

Re: Loading To Black Screen
Hi, If you use a saved flight to start, then you could delete the entry pointing to that startup situation in the P3D CFG file. Delete the entry behind; "situation= ~~~~ Another one: When in the blackscreen, press alt+enter, to get out an fullscreen vieuw. Another one: When in the blackscreen s...

Re: Will we ever have real time and seasons?
There are somethings that would be lovely if they'd change regarding to time and season. 1 time should be correct for the place on earth, which isn't quite the same as the Windows timezones. [too wide] 2 time should not fallback while using the simulator, neither should we have an addon correcting t...

Re: Performance decrease over time
I'am getting old , I forgot why I did a search on your CPU. Your CPU has graphics capabilities. Your setup should not use the Intel graphics but use the separate NVidia card, is it doing that?

Re: aitraffic
Yes, that's an odd one! Since P3D has it's roots in FSX, it is strange to notice that in FSX strobes are much brighter and seen from a bigger distance than in P3D. In "X" there used to be entries in the CFG to adjust the brightness [set the effects bigger or smaller] The strobes in P3D are...
