Night time radio towers
I have noticed on each and every night time flight when flying over land I get little traces of light that look exactly like radio towers. They are everywhere. When I use the time slider and make daylight, there are NO towers at all. Switch back to night and they are everywhere. When flying over wat...

P3Dv5 Road LIghting at Night
I have not applied the HOT FIX as of yet but did not see this problem listed as something that was fixed.
PROBLEM: While flying at night, distant roads (further than 5 miles out) appear as Dark Red roads. So un natural.
I have not applied any tweaks. Default settings.
Anyone else?

All sound.cfg files deleted/missing
I recently purchased an Embraer 170-175 Regional Pack. (It may be noted that I had NONE, ZERO, NODDA errors or problems prior to this purchase and nothing on MY part was modified by clicking or typing anything except what the installer ask for. I installed the aircraft which went well and proceeded ...

Re: VATSIM kills the sound from P3D v4.5
The very first thing we need to know is what VATSIM connect program are you using? I run vPilot. Within vPilot in the audio section there are clickable sound choices to be made. Match the one for your system. If you are using a Headset, it should be listed as a choice. Select it. Also in the P3D opt...

Hot Fix?
Where is the hotfix that was suppose to have come out Tuesday for version 4.5? It's being talked about all over but not here on this site. I guess if this site isn't talking about it then it doesn't exist. I would like to see one. Something is different. Although my machine can withstand the lowerd ...

Re: Frame issues in Prepar3D v4.5
I have a small loss on FPS However, now I am getting stutters in level flight. It gets so bad that the popup like it is loading appears and stops all simulator progress.
I was on a 6 hour flt over Indonesia to Australia. The stutter or slight pause caused the sim to crash.
never happened on 4.4.

Re: ATC Request Altitude Change
If you get within range of a handoff to approach control or frequency change to another "Center" you can NOT change your alititude. Basically when your on a flight plan and in cruise..... you can change. If your on approach or in the process of being switched to a new or different controll...

C-130J Panel
Just now thought I would try flying the C-130J. The aircraft flies well and everything seems to work fine with the following exception: The digital readout of the engine performance (gauge) stays on -0- for all gauges. Move the throttle and engines work fine but the gauges remain at -0-. So I went i...

Re: Loading Flight plans
Having the same type problem here. After a month of using version 4.3 now it will not load up a flight plan at all. If I select "LOAD" for the flight plan and then push "OK" a get a little window that says my flight plan is not complete. Additionally, when it does try to load, I ...

Sounds Disapearing
A problem has arisen that I have no clue. Open the Beech King Air 350. Spawn at an airport. From inside the cockpit I cannot hear the engine sounds. When I switch views to looking at the aircraft from the outside, I can hear the engines (props) good. Switch back to cockpit view and no engine sounds....

Re: No Idle for Turbo Props
Jorge! I think I found the problem. I went into the control options and found that the throttle "null" setting was set at 36%. I hit the button for default settings and the throttle setting went to -0-. I then tested the Beech 350 at default airport and presto. It is working as it should. ...

Re: No Idle for Turbo Props
Thanks for the reply Jorge. However, recalibrating my controls did not help at all. If it were the control calibration it would surely effect the other aircraft. It doesn't. Only the turbo props. Here is how it operates: I can start P3Dv4 with a Beech 350 parked at any airport. I can go through my c...

No Idle for Turbo Props
Since using v4.1 I have a problem with any/all turbo prop aircraft not setting still at engine idle. All turbo prop aircraft want to start rolling without advancing throttle. When actually taxiing, taxi speed gets to high and uncontrolable to the point that adding break pressure makes the aircraft l...
