[RESOLVED] Crashing with Nvidia OpenGL error code 3

Having a major bummer experience for the first time ever with P3D v3.2

Anyone else getting a crash with Nvidia OpenGL error code 3?
I'm not sure how to figure out what it is.

Is this one of those dreaded OOM situations I've always heard about?

Re: Another controller problem : MSFF2 & erratic throttle movement

@gderreck & @turbineseaplane Just to be clear, FS Force does NOT solve the problem of erratic control movement. Of course, it is a great add-on ... I'm the author, so of course I'm going to say that ;-), but I just wanted to be clear about what it does and doesn't do. That being said, I have di...

Re: Another controller problem : MSFF2 & erratic throttle movement

AGHG!!! This is STILL a problem and as others have said, it's now even worse as it's the control axes are veering all over the place (but throttle seems fine). P3D continues to be totally unusable for me on v3 as result of this. This is using the precise same hardware and joystick that performed 100...

Anyone perhaps willing to kindly share a video of this super smoothness?
Has me really interested in G-Sync all of the sudden! :-)

This ever get any love?
I've seen this at several airports now - Really distracting to be literally going "through" the lights as you proceed down the runways

<t>X-Plane is by far the better sim for night/dusk/dawn scenarios due to the lighting.<br/> <br/> It's a shame that P3D can't somehow get some "priority" to the lighting. If there's one thing that should always be prioritized it's properly showing runway/airport environment lighting from appropriate...

Rob's HDR tweaks are a nice addition, but those also don't get a "bright sunny day" to be nearly as intense as it should be

I have to agree with this also - Very odd that I basically have to use ReShade+SweetFX to get the lighting to be how it should on a bright sunny day

Great thread - This is a serious problem in terms of simulating actual flight.

In a city area with lights all over, the beacon is (of course) *the* thing that should be seen from far off, just like in real life.

That's why they are called "beacons" ... haha

<t>One of the really frustrating things about this is how "off" things in look in the critical areas around airports and approaches. It's very important (to me anyhow) to have the "sight" of an airport environment look roughly correct when reaching minimums so the simulation is a good one of real li...

It seems likely to me that this is the first round of the driver and that we can still count on improvements to P3D side of things moving forward perhaps?

<t>Regarding the vsync and triple buffering… <br/> What settings do people use in the Nvidia control panel?<br/> <br/> I noticed that triple buffering is off in the Nvidia control panel by default. What happens when you turn triple buffering on within P3D yet it is off in the control panel?<br/> <br...

No
I just put in a 2nd 970 (that really didn't help much in SLI sadly) and no registration issues came up or anything.

<t>Echoing the above statement<br/> Basically no improvement for me with dual 970's (working fine as indicated by the green SLI indicator).<br/> <br/> Most of the time the green bar is very short (about 1"-2" tall) which would seem to indicate P3D isn't yet very good at distributing the workload acr...
