Re: Fix for 4.2 numbers bug...?!
I realize that this is something that has changed with v4.2... but that doesn't take away that the developers (not L-M) should be coding smarter. If your code isn't wanting a 4 (as example) then you shouldn't respond to a 4. You should act as if no input was provided at all. BUT the problem is wors...

Re: All positions of POV HAT should be separately assignable
It would be great if all positions of POV HAT (8 positions) could be separately assignable. This would allow us to use the POV hat to be used for view directions or seat position in VR or other applications. Other flight sims permit this - for example, to be able to assign POV Hat Upper Left to XYZ...

Re: FSUIPC 4 and 5
Prepar3DV4.2 needs FSUIPC4 it won't work with FSUIPC5 ( It bogs right down almost freeze) No. FSUIPC4 is a 32-bit DLL and will not run in P3D4 at all. You need FSUIPC 5.124 or later in P3D4.2. So Aerosoft, or Lockheed Martin and Pete Dawson need to work this out I think, unless someone on here has ...

Re: Flightsim Commander
Yep! I Ran the DB manager and it said everything was good. The error I get when I try to run FSC9.7 using FSUIPC4 is "Unable to connect to simulator! MSG#2 > simulator not running or cannot link to FSUIPC or WideClient" You cannot use FSUIPC4 with P3D4. FSUIPC is a 32-bit DLL which will n...

Re: Looking for MakeRwys.exe Installation Instructions
I'm new to Windows 10 and P3d v4.1. I have the add on organizer installed. I'm looking for step by step instructions on how to then install MakeRwys.exe into P3d. Have you tried actually looking at the included documentation, where it tells you clearly to simply copy it into the main sim folder? Th...

Re: error=Payload station indexes should be between 1 - Number of Stations
For reference, this post is the first discussion on these content errors: https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=125545 The topic was brought up again here: https://prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6314&t=125549 Yes. And, for the reasons I've explained, over and over, this ...

Re: error=Payload station indexes should be between 1 - Number of Stations
Thanks, but I find the error log very useful as it has helped tracked down a number of other errors, so turning it off isn't really an option. I am a developer and do a lot of beta testing of products, so having this error spam the error log isn't an ideal situation. Until L-M realise this is a bad...

Re: Tools to graph Frame Rates
Anyone know of a tool or gauge that can chart the fps parameter or send it to a text file instead of the screen for charting in excel? There's a program called "JAB_FPSx.exe" which shows the FPS in figures and with a graph over time. It is by Jacky Brouze, and should be available still so...

Re: P3D v4.1 parameter size inconsistency between gauges.h and actual implementation
Correct, but the template states it is a pointer to 32-bit integer (SINT32* piValue), whereas it actually must point to a 64-bit integer, else the 4 bytes following it in memory will be trampled.

Re: Zooming warps the perspective and distorts cockpit/fisheye effect with 3 monitors and eyefinity
"He is is running Prepar3d, ver 4 with 2 x GeForce 1080 cards in SLI and 3 x 1080p monitors in eyefinity." What is eyefinity? I think "Eyeinfinity" is the AMD video driver name for surround mode, making more than one screen part of one wider window. With nVidia GeForce cards I t...

Re: P3D 4.1 - Zulu time fault
Universal time can never be wrong due to location on Earth, it is the same everywhere. Your problem is an incorrect local time. Solution is to ignore the local time. If only it was that easy! In the sim, things such as day and night --dawn and dusk -- are determined by local time, NOT by UTC! It do...

Re: P3D display resolution list doesn't include correct one
Full screen resolution can be set per monitor. In the Full Screen Settings area in options there is a Display drop down. Are you seeing 1920x1080 for the other three displays? Duh! I feel so stupid! Yes, they are there and okay! :-) I changed from nVidia surround mode to having the individual proje...

Re: P3D display resolution list doesn't include correct one
Full screen resolution can be set per monitor. Really? I've not noticed that. I'll take a look in the morning. But why would it even be listing the resolutions for the monitor which isn't being used by P3D? In the Full Screen Settings area in options there is a Display drop down. Are you seeing 192...
