Re: Prepar3D v5 BUG: far 3D models not displayed correctly compared to the ground
This problem as well as the those discussed below point to a global elevation problem within P3D V5. I think all three problems are related. Hi! The problem described on this topic isn't related to floating objects. Here we are another problem: all 3D objects have a ORIGIN coordinate (x=0, y=0, z=0...

Re: [Resolved] P3Dv5 Poor Performance 2080Ti
Hi all! I've a Intel i7 6700K with 16Gb RAM, a Zotac 1080 Amp Extreme videocard 8Gb and I have problems only with large orthophoto scenery. Big STUTTERS and cloud flashing. You can see the comparison v4.5 vs v5 here: https://youtu.be/tgiYnH5B_Qs?t=75 As you can see the issue is that v5 doesn't use a...

Prepar3D v5 and photoscenery: Stutters, Flashing Clouds, not all CPU cores used
Hi all! I compared performances of a custom large photoscenery with autogen between P3D v.4.5 Hotfix2 and P3D v5. Results: P3D v4 uses ALL CPU CORES and the performance is better than P3D v5 P3D v5 uses only a part of CPU CORES so it introduces big stutters and cload flashing It seems that P3D v5 is...

Re: Prepar3D v5 BUG: Clouds flashing
No, the autogen scenery is non-default. And it is based on a custom photoscenery. But in P3D v4 there's no problem.
It seems that P3D v5 can't handle large amount of autogen data like previous versions while you turn fast. So when you turn fast, you see big stutters and cloud flashing!

Re: Prepar3D v5 BUG: far 3D models not displayed correctly compared to the ground
Here the problem is another: 3D objects are in the correct place. But the simulator SHOWS THE PART OF THE OBJECTS THAT THEY SHOULD BE UNDER THE GROUND!!! Another example refering to default 3D obects like chinmeny. Load Default flight and enter in SLEW mode by pressing "Y" key. Press F4 un...

Re: Prepar3D v5 BUG: far 3D models not displayed correctly compared to the ground
The same issue happens to the default 3D models like telecomunication poles and all 3d models that have a hidden part under the ground.

Re: Prepar3D v5 BUG: Clouds flashing
It happens in all conditions when you fly over dense autogen photoscenery and you turn fast your airplane. In most cases there are big stutters. On Prepar3D v.4 in the same conditions all works smooth.

Prepar3D v5 BUG: far 3D models not displayed correctly compared to the ground
Hi all! I am a 3D model designer. I modeled various buildings and bridges in Prepar3D v.4. When I draw a building or a bridge, I also draw the "underground" part of the model so if I place it in a steep area, the model fits the mesh of the ground. For example if I have to draw a bridge, I ...
