Ok I am in the same boat after following the steps to a T. I am lost as the program fails to load. What is the proper MSXML6 for a AMD A6 Quad Windows 8.1 Gateway?? Yes I had my UAC down and tried install as admin also.

Ok I am now in this boat with P3DV1.4 with a new computer and Windows 8.1 64 a AMD A6 Quad, 8g ram, Nvidia 610 2G and still get the same. I am thinking some file is missing. Any help leading to file or files appreciated

That sounds like a Data Execution prevention error ie DEP or BEX. I had a few of those in FSX and Prepar3d under W7 64. Since going W8 64, never got that one yet. I don't have my notes pertaining to what I did last time in W7 to fix that. Sorry.

Ok somehow I messed up in my XML controller area and that caused my issue. I have re fixed my issue by the backtracking and now have R click ability restored. I caused my own error thru my own experimenting with the controls and controller's. There I taught myself something new lol.

I have that error and aero peek enabled. Very strange minor issue although. Although right click-spots in the VC are not effected. At least I can access the menu's in sim from the menu bar in window mode.

Aero peek enabled here with W8 64 and have Rt click ctd error any AC including default. Something changed.

What is the Scenery and is it Pay or free??

No Issue's FSX W8 and 8.1. Lockheeds P3D V1.4 although has the famous 2.0 drop stick error also.
