Two DLL.XML-files
Some programs place entries in the DLL.XML-file placed in AppData/Roaming/ect. Others place there entries in the DLL.XML-file placed in ProgramData/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3Dv4 folder. I noticed that only one of the two is used. Is that correct?

Re: Controle in aircraft?
I apologize for the late response. Yes, the effect is properly attached to the aircraft, because the paratroopers correctly came out of the paratrooper door. I use the smokesystem to activate the effect with the I-key. Meanwhile I have been playing with the effect file. I found out that if I enlarge...

Controle in aircraft?
Can a Controller file be placed in an aircraft with the [smokesystem] instruction? I have an effect file that launces one paratrooper at a time , but if I add more particles to launce more paratrooper, they appear behind the first one instead of in front. Because a controller file is fixed on a loca...

Just a thought
I very much appreciate the new user interface of P3D4. I would like to specify two items. One is the new menu item Options\Add-ons. It gives a list of installed Add-ons, which you can activate or deactivate. After that you need to restart the sim. The other new thing is the possibility to use Option...

Re: Surf effect difference in v3 and v4 - same file
Makes me think off an effect I am using. My paratroopers jump upside down. I know in my case it has to do with the fact that BMP-files are not supported any more. May you have a similar problem.

I changed back from FSUIPC4961 to FSUIPC4959 and all my problems are over. This thread can be closed.

Re: P3D quits after start loading scenery objects
Update I have tried all sorts of addon-combinations with FSUIPC, but one thing is curtain: If I close down P3D and get the error-message: “Prepar3D is not working anymore, close program” then I know that I have to restart my computer and reinstall FSUIPC, because somehow the closingproces damages fs...

Re: P3D quits after start loading scenery objects
Update. Yesterday I removed the DLL.XML. This file starts the add-ons like: FSUIPC, Migrations Tool, FSCopilot, ObjectFlow (ORBX, Dafsim and Active Sky Next. Without the DLL P3D runs OK. Then I added the entries for the add-ons one by one. So far FSUIPC, Migrations Tool and FSCopilot seems to work f...

P3D quits after start loading scenery objects
Yesterday I installed Hotfix3 and everything worked fine (+update FSUIPC, +update ORBX-DataOverfloy, +update Active Sky Next). Today I started P3D and at the point of loading scenery objects, P3D quits completly. I can't restart P3D unless I have restarted my computer. I tried to rebuild prepa3d.cfg...

Re: FSCopilot in P3D V3.4 (error 300)
"Opened FSInn UI as Administrator from Start Menu. Checked 'Chat' then closed FSInn".
After this you have to Run The Migration Tool again. Disable virtual FSX, then enable virtual FSX and then run P3D.
You will get the message: Migration Tool needs to restart P3D.
Good luck,
Roy

Re: flashing through view
Thanks for helping, Poppet. But it suddenly struck me. I use FSUIPC for my controls and therefor disabled controls in P3D. The cliënt-install enabled the controls again. After disableling controls in P3D all is well. Thanks again.

[RESOLVED] flashing through view
Installed the latest hotfix. Just Cliënt uninstall and install, like I did more than once. removed the predar3d.cfg. Running the sim, the views keep changing quickly and that can't be stoped. I had this once more in the past, but can not remember what stoped it. Any Idea someone?
