Re: ANY PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT IN 3.4 UPDATE?

I think most developers would welcome a transition to 64 bit giving their product better breathing space. I remember Windows XP professional 64-bit edition coming out back in 2005 (2001 for Itanium). Most development languages have automated conversion software to 64 bit Windows O/S producing revise...

Re: Is Oculus Rift worth it for P3D?

In two words the experience is 'jaw dropping' with current equipment. The immersion is stunning... it's not 4K but once you've tweaked it a bit it does the job for 2016 ;) Is this VR thing mature in 2016 ? Obviously not Is this the future of flight simulation ? That's not even a question. Obviously ...

Re: WINDOWS 10 UPGRADES

Upgraded win 8.1 pro to windows 10 pro. No problemo.

Didn't even uninstall, reinstall P3D ! Awesome !

Only thing I noticed was the menu font which appears kind of ... faded.

Re: WIN 10 Fails Install - ORBX to blame - TRUE

Talk about a needle in a haystack !! Will this happen with any 0byte file (no extension) in the windows\start\menu\programs\<vendor> directory.. And why does ORBX need an empty TODO file ? My guess is some installation feature where the TODO holds some sequential operations to execute until the TODO...

I don't know if you've looked at the size of IVAO MTL. You're talking about 8 Gigabytes of data.

Maybe some sort of initial native indexing (P3D) of these data files might help. Following loads could 'potentially' be dramatically shorter using such a scheme.

Copy Paste the files in your working P3D directory :)
