Re: HyperThreading on V3.2
I have Alienware and I also have HT on, but, I can turn it off in the bios. Instead of turning it off, you could put an affinity mask setting in the cgf file to reduce P3d to just the physical cores (logical ones off). I have a 6 core, and run P3D only on 4.

bglmanx.dll was my culprit also.

Re: Anti aliasing and dynamic reflections: a bad combination?
Here is my with and without. Orbx scenery (base/vector/regions) looking at 16L at KSEA. My AA settings are MSAA = 4, Aniso = 16, and 4x SGSS in NV Inspector. Screen shots do not really show the simmering. Reflection set to Ultra. http://www.ricksdigitaldesert.com/flight/screens/with%20reflect.jpg Se...

Re: Anti aliasing and dynamic reflections: a bad combination?
That was driving me nuts. Turned dynamic reflections off and the anti aliasing of the runway lines went back to normal. Thanks.

Re: OOM in V3 is back again
I agree Max settings = OOMs. I did a flight with the PMDG 737-600 from KSEA to CYYC tonight and due to family on goings had to pause the sim quite a few times. Finally after an hour and a half after starting the sim, running through preflight, I finally taxied, took off and reached cruise altitude. ...

Re: orbx
Orbx has already released quite a few updated installers for their products that make it V3 compatible. I have a few installed already with more being released every few days. Just visit their website.

Re: ntdll.dll error when shutting down V3
I get the ntdll.dll error without FSUIPC being installed but when trying to load PMDG's 737 from a saved scenario. I cannot get back into P3D without deleting the Prepar3D.cfg and rebuilding it. Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version: 3.0.10.14945, time stamp: 0x560b4abe Faulting module na...

Re: OOM with Orbx and PMDG 737-600
Vaughan, Same flight plan as mine but I flew in heavy overcast conditions. Only thing I can think of besides the weather is how your system and my system are different on specs, textures, settings, and how those textures are processed via CPU/MEM/GPU. i7-5820K @ 3.3GHz GTX 980 (drivers 355.82) No ov...

Re: OOM with Orbx and PMDG 737-600
Vaughan, I really can't pinpoint it to this option or that addon. I can only infer the demise was due to the weather textures from ASN as the area was overcast, the large airfield (more textures again), and time VAS was allowed to increase due to the flight time. I had not changed any options within...

Re: OOM with Orbx and PMDG 737-600
Vaughan, Horrible! Tried a flight from CYYC to CYVR with ASN. It was overcast at departure and arrival. Seems like the combination of weather and going to a large airfield almost did me in. Either I have to stick to quick 50 minute flights from/to medium size airfields or less or keep weather clear....

Re: OOM with Orbx and PMDG 737-600
Still within limits. ASN w/real world weather CYYC-CYEG (scattered clouds entire flight w/rain at CYEG) Boot up - 2458612 Taxi - 2772700 Climb - 2753376 Cruise - 2811228 Descent - 2794248 Approach - 2806496 Final - 2826052 Landing - 2856216 Gate - 2895064 Total increase - 436452 May be a while befor...

Re: OOM with Orbx and PMDG 737-600
Vaughan, Decided to load all my Orbx terrain. Here are the results. I really don't think the sequence has anything to do with it. I'm sure for memory it's simply additive. After each scenery load I booted the sim twice to load and flush scenery indexes. The VAS number after the file is average boot ...

Re: OOM with Orbx and PMDG 737-600
Vaughan, Loaded OrbxFTXGlobalBASE130 - Bootup VAS around 2,067,600. Loaded OrbxFTXopenLC_NA_Alaska_Canada100 - Bootup around 2,042,812 Loaded OrbxFTXNABlueNRM140 - Bootup jumped to 2,332,216. I tried multiple loads and unloads through FTX Central, Bootup difference always reading around 320K - 330K ...
