With HF 2, I originally just updated a couple of the segments but kept getting a CTD with a Kernelbase.dll error. So I started over, uninstalled the entire program, deleting all of the appropriate files as suggested and re-installed. The performance is terrific, but I can't seem to fly more than 5-1...

I uninstalled the content and client files and installed the new HF2 files, the sim loads great now with improved performance. I second this request. They seem to be leftover from graphics of 15 years ago and look horrible. Dynamic lighting could possibly do wonders for those.
