Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

i did all that too, made no difference. Currently (after the fix) I'm running scenery and complexity at max, Vsync at 70, FXAA, 4xMultisampling but no autogen, Actually, for my 320 cockpit, this is fine as the airports and fixed scenery (Orbx) look pretty good anyway. One thing that really improved ...

Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

I have had this problem recently with 4.5. Browsing the web I found two solutions going back many years. The first: In Nvidea setup screen goto help and enable debugging. The second: In Nvidea setup where it asks for Rendering do be done on: You have options auto-select/CPU/GTX1080ti (or whatever yo...

Re: Future of P3D

I've watched a few reviews from people who were invited to MS HQ to preview FS2020 and one, in particular, had the same views about MS deserting the community as some of you above.

However, I'm blown away by what I've seen so far. It's going to be a game-changer.

Look at the latest review on YT.

Re: 3x 2K Displays, 2x 2080 TI - Best performance configuration?

Important work here, thanks for sharing. I have three GT1080ST on two GTX1080TI. Based on what you've said here it would be better to run the front screen on the main card and the sides on the secondary and take the SLI connector out. I'm interested in what you're doing with the mirrors could you po...

Zoom scenery without changing virtual cockpit size

Hi all,

one of my pilots was complaining the other day that while doing circuits at 1000ft it looked like 2000ft to him. Is there a way to zoom the scenery without changing the virtual cockpit. We are using TIR and try to have instruments close to real size/view.

Thanks in advance

Thank you

I didn't know where else to put this but I wanted to say a very very big thank you for finally getting 64bit - and all the other tweaks. Whatever you've done has really made this product fit for modern tech. V4 runs fantastically well and with all the sliders much higher than my system could have ma...

Menu disassociation from main screen

Hi Guys, So, In my setup, I have two video outputs (R9 290z) and a window's screen (Internal Intel GPU), what really breaks the suspension of disbelief is having to go to the menu bar to change something which shows up on the pilot's visuals. What I'd like is a way to separate the menu bar so that i...

Re: Time to improve the ATC interface

One that's been missed from this list is Pilot2Atc.com which is still in constant development. Voice operated, with SIDS/STARS. My only gripe is that it doesn't (yet) control AI traffic. You can get a 2 week free trial. The developer is very helpful and chatty. I run it on a 4th PC using FSUIPC wide...

Re: Multiple PTT button on teamspeak 2 for IVAO

If you're using FSUIPC and WideClient, I think you can set up the second PTT in the same way as the first, i.e. a SENDKEY[1-255] and it will appear to do the same on the WideClient. OFC this doesn't give you separately controllable audio but that might not be an issue in your setup.

Hi Poppet! Thanks for the follow up. I ended up trashing the entire system and starting from scratch. That usually works :)

eallenw rites: "Just a curious thought in response to this comment. When I'm not flying I play Blizzards World of Warcraft. A behemoth of a game - that comes in both 32 and 64 bit. " No need to go so far. X-Plane comes with a 32 Bit and a 64 Bit executable as well. Kind regards, Michael I...

Re: ANY PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT IN 3.4 UPDATE?

But as you say, the memory limitation is the main reason. If I have 32g of ram, then I want everything in a 100 mile radius rendered in hd and damn the horses, or, cores... No one makes a video card capable of doing that. I hope you're joking and not really expecting a 64-bit anything to display th...

Re: The client dont wanna start with admin rights

not sure if related but right now I've having a similar problem. I uninstalled client and running the client installer shows no action for a long time. Quit it, (this process about 3 times) Uninstalled the entire system and run the setup installer It's still just sitting there on Initialising.... fo...
