one of my pilots was complaining the other day that while doing circuits at 1000ft it looked like 2000ft to him. Is there a way to zoom the scenery without changing the virtual cockpit. We are using TIR and try to have instruments close to real size/view.

If you're using FSUIPC and WideClient, I think you can set up the second PTT in the same way as the first, i.e. a SENDKEY[1-255] and it will appear to do the same on the WideClient. OFC this doesn't give you separately controllable audio but that might not be an issue in your setup.
