Mesh value in the version 5 hotfix1
Hi, From what I have read in several trade journals including PC Pilot, the Prepar3D team has integrated many changes on this latest version v5 and a lot of geographical data. I would have liked to know if the value of the mesh had been modified compared to the previous version since a number of pla...

Re: Good news about VRAM and Windows 10 2004
Hi,
I have just switched to Windows 10 edition 2004 and I confirm : my VRam data under P3D v5 goes from 3.9/6.7 GB to 3.9/7.1 GB. This change is very beneficial because I have in addition more fluidity and the VRam is released more quickly.
Best regards
Lagaffe

Re: PBR using Gmax?
Hi,
The better solution is to use MCX of Arno Gerretssen to modify your MDL and add PBR textures to you model in order to pompile it withe the v4.5 SDK.

SDK P3Dv4.4 Modeling Tools for Max 2012_x64
Hi, After 6 month working on my least scenery about Mirabel with the SDK 4.3.29.25520 I have decided to upgrade to P3Dv4.4 (Prepar3D_v4_SDK_Setup_4.4.16.27106). Substance Painter and Prepar3D
Hi,
Having bought Substance Painter 2 to make my aircraft/scenery textures, I would like to know if other people use it and if presets to export the generated textures exist for P3D or FSX.
Thanks.

Letter for Christlmas to Lockeed Martin
Hi,
The SDK allows P3D always to use 32-bits modeling tools. Thet 64-bits versions are intended to work with 3DS and it seems obvious.
In these circumstances, is it possible to still use this32 bits tools with Gmax and not to have to go through 3DS Max ... which is payware .
