Re: the sky is not changing during flight p3d5

I have seen this error too. The skylight goes from dusk to pitch dark in the morning.
I took off from EKCH around 0600 lt, with low sun and daylight.
I landed at LEPA around 0900 lt, in total darkness.
When I opened the time and date window, the daylight suddenly appeared.

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll

No more CTD's caused by the ATC-window! The last few weeks I have been testing and testing - A LOT! A very frustrating time, as this CTD has not been consistent. So what is the fix? It's very hard to point out one thing, as I have been checking many possible causes. But the following items are the m...

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll

I'm almost 100% sure this is a bug in Prepar3D V5. I have done a lot of testing with HF1 & HF2 and cannot find the cause of CTD via the ATC window. This problem did not exist in V4. CTD occurs without add-ons and in default aircraft. My Prepar3D V5 installation was clean, and so were HF1 and HF ...

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll

Martyson, that's right. Thanks for checking this out. In the meantime I'm checking different settings/add-ons in my setup. This problem is really hard to figure out, as it never occurs in the same situation or with the same frequency. Does anyone have Airports of Norway (freeware scenery) and experi...

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll

@Martyson, see https://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=uk https://i.imgur.com/OH27LFc.png With the new Nvidia-drivers, the CTD have changed slightly. At one crash I got an error dialog in P3D before it shut down. And there were no logs registered in the Windows event viewer. https://i.imgu...

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll

Yes, I did a complete & clean install of P3D V5 HF2 yesterday, and I'm still experiencing this issue. There a a few others also having the same crash in P3D V5, so I'm avaiting their feedback to see if there is something I missed along the way. I might have forgotten to deactivate one specific a...

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll

P3D never crashes immediately, and I can always take off, and sometimes even land at the next airport. I can thus open the ATC-window 20-100 times before it results in a CTD. To test I can slew around in the default F-35 and open the window a number of times while moving, and then it will eventually...

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll

Hi all, Even with a fresh clean & installation of P3D V5 HF2, I experience CTD when opening the ATC window after a time in the sim. I have tested with and without GSX (and Addon Manager), reinstalled VC runtime and checked Frameworks. Is there any who have installed HF2 and have had any fresh ex...

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll

So I got another VCRUNTIME140.dll CTD when opening the ATC-window today.
Then I'm out of ideas, and I'll just wait for a HF from LM, maybe it has a solutions for this.

Re: V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll

Here's what I've done so far: - Reinstalled latest Nvidia drivers. - Checked .NET installation (no errors). - Uninstalled all the old and current C++ Redist versions, then run the FSDT live updater (which installs the required C++ versions). I think it's the last item that may have done the trick. S...

Re: ATC still causing CTD?

Same thing here. It results in two errors with CTD instantly as I open the ATC-window. V5: ATC-windows crash VCRUNTIME140.dll

Hi Sometimes, when using the ATC-window in Prepar3d V5 HF1, P3D crashes giving the following logs: Programnavn med feil: Prepar3D.exe, versjon: 5.0.24.34874, tidsangivelse: 0x5eab3677 Modulnavn med feil: VCRUNTIME140.dll, versjon: 14.25.28508.3, tidsangivelse: 0x5e155520 Unntakskode: 0xc0000005 Feil...

Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

After struggling with this error for many weeks, I finally downgraded Prepar3D client from v3.4.22 down to v3.3.5 and have so far gotten rid of the DXGI-error.

I do not have the FSL A320 by the way. My erro have only popped up using PMDG aircraft.

Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

What can I say. I've had this error since December now, and I've put the longer routes and sessions on the shelf until there is a fix to it. Rather frustrating. Is there a comment from the Prepar3d dev team yet?

Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

I just wondered if any of you encountering this error have monitored the GPU temperature? Just a minor layer of dust on the GPU fan that might reduce air flow and cause overheat, especially if a recent update have increased or changed the GPU power management.
