Re: How do I add Switches not listed in Controls > Assignments?
I should have mentioned when I bind a switch to the Parking Brakes, it DOES move the lever in the sim onscreen display, as expected. Is something going on with Alabeo preventing proper binding of the Engine Masters switches' function into the aircraft add-on itself? And, I did have to move the physi...

Re: How do I add Switches not listed in Controls > Assignments?
I think we're getting somewhere. I'm using Log feature of FSUIPC with DA-42 sim running, toggling back'n'forth between sim screen and "FSUIPC6 Console Log" window. I've set FSUPIC Logging/Log Details to both "Button and Key operations" AND "Events (non-axis controls)". ...

Re: How do I add Switches not listed in Controls > Assignments?
Yes, I was concerned about that - but I installed it back then, and it works properly otherwise. The same switches - notably Engine Master) didn't have P3D bindings back then, either. I reached out to Alabeo, and they were a-holes about not supporting further. I'm stuck with it for now because it's ...

Re: How do I add Switches not listed in Controls > Assignments?
When I run the log feature of FSUIPC, then mouse over and click the Engine Master switches in the sim (on screen), nothing shows up in the log. Doesn't that confirm they are not assigned? But, I think they do function as expected in the sim; i.e., the engines won't start without them ON, as in my re...

I have not yet been able to figure out how to use that feature of FSUIPC -

How do I add Switches not listed in Controls > Assignments?
Not sure if this is correct section, but hopefully it'll be read and responded to, moved if more appropriate elsewhere. Thanks in advance. I'm running the Alabeo DA-42 with P3D v5.4, because it's the only add-on aircraft I can find matching my airplane IRL, a 2006 DA-42, N327TS. Hardware is a powerf...

Re: How do I turn off (or remove) the stupid looking cranes?
Thank you very much, Max - I really do appreciate a response from an actual L-M developer / programmer. Sorry I missed your reply last week. I'm a better pilot (#N327TS) and hardware guy than programmer, so I will need some guidance with the exclusion .xml creation / modification, please and thank y...

How do I turn off (or remove) the stupid looking cranes?
I fly IRL (#N327TS) and sim in the Little Rock, Arkansas area (KLIT). For whatever reason(s) the scenery is placing construction / container cranes at random along the Arkansas River. I promise, there are no cranes on the river in the Little Rock area. They look stupid. How do I turn them off and/or...

How does the coefficient and scalar math work in Aircraft.cfg files?
Working on "fixing" a helicopter add-on, adjusting some of the Coefficient and Scalar values in the Aircraft.cfg file. I need a quick review / confirmation / training, please and thank you: - Using the yaw_damp_cf Property as an example, defined as "resistance to yaw velocity".. ...

Rudder Trim Axis?
I've searched here several times, and see posts on this topic that are several years old (!). Where the heck is the rudder trim axis? If I'm missing it in the controls axis assignments, please tell me. Otherwise, hey LM, how can you continue to overlook such a fundamental flight control assignment?!...

Re: Help with two display setup, please
OK, that tutorial from another thread (now locked) was kinda helpful for P3D V3; but, after messing with it for half a day, I was not able to get the perspective to look correct between the different screens. For some reason, the Zoom feature wasn't locking and/or being consistent between screens; i...

Re: View Groups Tutorial for P3D v3.3
Thank you for re- posting the tutorial - However, I think something is still not right with the relationship between the overall (P3D V4) Zoom parameter and the way the FOV side angles relate. I've followed the instructions (using 40" HD monitors), but just can't seem to get the proper perspect...

Help with two display setup, please
I'm running with two displays (40" HDTVs) for a while instead of my usual three (L, C, R). With three displays, it's obvious and easy to simply stretch the program start window across all three, and the center display is the center. But, using two displays, I'd like to have the primary (previou...

Re: Where is the list of included airports? And/or, how do I search before purchasing?
Thank you for replying with that info! I e-mailed LM directly that same question months and months ago, but never received an answer. I did get the excuse that there are 25K airports. That's unfortunate, because - as I'd mentioned previously - I can't justify paying hundreds of dollars for software ...

Where is the list of included airports? And/or, how do I search before purchasing?
I tried searching for the answer within the Forum(s); but, it keeps telling me the search key words are too common.. One would think it's an important feature to know about - OK, so there's 25K of them - but we should be able to do a pre-buy search. I bought V3, but my home airport (KCXW) was NOT in...
