Windows seems to be having problems with ASUS USB 3 drivers. The problems with usb joystick are discussed here with a workaround. http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic ... 5&t=117764 Its not the best but at least it works for me, We have been complaining about this since March.

Just go to the devices area in windows 10. Uninstall your joystick, unplug it, then plug it back in. Windows will load the driver and you're all set. This can be done with P3D open. So far this works. You might have to do this again, I had to once.

I had to uninstall my Joystick and let windows reinstall the driver. It can be done with P#D running. This only happend once so far.

Thanks Clifton. Did the flag and so far everything works as advertised.I deleted and re-installed the joy stick. Not sure if that was necessary. I changed aircraft with no problem. Calibrates also. Looks good so far. I'll let you know if there's a problem. Thanks again.

Thank you for the update. That is all we wanted to hear. At least some progress is being made. I will continue to keep MS aware of the problem. I have been a certified beta tester for MS since 1994. I have a little inside contact. For what it's worth.

MS stated that it was a "possible" sim connect issue. The usb joystick works as it should in any other platform or game on windows 10 Insider.. The joystick even registers in FSUIPC Using another OS is not a realistic work around.

I agree. This is getting ridiculous. I get better response from MS about this. They say it is LM's problem with there version of sim connect. Really frustrating.

Just installed Windows 10 build 14342. No change. This definitely a LM problem.

This thread was started in March. I have a lot of money invested in this. It would be nice if I could fly again and I don't really want to go back to FSX.

The last post made about this problem states it was solved, Control K does nothing for me. Calibration is still grayed out. I even uninstalled my USB hubs, but still no joy. Please look into this again.
