[RESOLVED] NVidia + Intel HD graphics == Hang or crash

P3D v3.2 (for me at least) hangs during startup if the Intel HD graphics is enabled. This has been the case with 3.1 as well. It would be really nice if this issue could be debugged (assuming of course it can be reproduced and not unique to my system). So when I disable the Intel HD device in device...

Re: Plane always veers right when I try to take off

After performing the normal checks like excessive crosswind and rudder calibration, one has to consider the sliders on the realism settings page. It is unfortunate that we tend to think things are better when everything is always to the right, but think of these more like you think about volume cont...

Addon Folder Configuration

Version 3 already provide the ability to specify additional folders for effects, gauges, simobjects, fonts etc. I would like to suggest one creates an additional .cfg file (addons.cfg) with maybe a content structure like this: [Entry.0] Sequence=1 PATH=C:\SomeFolder TITLE=My addon ACTIVE=true [Entry...

v3 Feedback

I have to say that I am not entertained by v3. The ultra smooth frames on my system is not entertaining, it suspends my disbelief so I can focus on learning. No need to show the FPS counter anymore. Things are just smooth now. The optimized VAS usage also does not not entertain me. It enables me to ...

Adam,

That sounds promising. Small but deliberate changes to make the sim experience better in different aspects.

Would it be possible in future, to split the installer into the simulator and the global scenery? I am asking under the assumption that the default terrain mesh and textures do not really change between minor releases and makes up a large portion of the 10GB installer download.

If you want to buy a special house in Cape Town, these are in the market. You will however need special transport to check them out :) (P3D v2.1 + Hotfix + FSGenesis NEXTMap for South Africa + ORBX Global & Vector)

<t>(Clean install with all folders deleted beforehand). I have the same issue (Logitech G940 set). I have to assign the axis (and delete the ones I do not need) and the immediately Exit P3D before it will save the config. Export and Import does not work. So every time I map the controllers, I have t...
