No problem here either. I always usea big monitor full screen with a smaller one for Little Nav Map, Active Sky, etc. Never had an issue in either v4 or v5.

Installed V5 and all is well. Only question, is there a way to increase the shift z text size? On a 4K monitor thge displpay can be really difficuit to read with old eyes.

4.5 is working just fine for me. If your addons work in 4.3 they should all work in 4.5.

I always keep a copy of the prior release JIC I have a problem.Once I'm confident all is well I may delete it.

Are you using any camera utilities like TrackIR and/or ChasePlane? You might just be seeing acceleration /deceleration effects which change your eyepoint and cause the HUD to disappear.

Not positive BUT I don't believe you can run an exe file from the addon.cfg or addon.xml file.
Is the path correct in exe.xml file. Check permissions on file? Is it enabled in exe.xml?

You mention running multiple stress tests ob CPU, GPU & memory. DId you test them individually or in combination. Get a program called OCCT and run it for at least an hour in the default test - it will stress your CPU,GPU & memory together much as P3D does. I've had systems that have passed ...

I disable ANY type of "real time protection" for that very reason. Just about any of the AV, Malware and security suites will try to set that up. For the paranoid out there, unless you are incapable of watching what you click on, you don't really need it - at least not when using the sim. ...

Well, probably because it's not that important to many. I use FSUIPC to program all controllers so I have an up/down switch but the toggle was just fine with me.
