Re: Can I revert Safely from 4.5.12 to 4.4?
I have good news and bad news... The good news...yes, you can revert to 4.4 from 4.5.12... The bad news is that the bad scenery problems manifest in 4.5.12 remain once you convert back... cutting down the graphics and frame rate seems to make it worse...ouch...I use a high end gaming machine with pl...

Can I revert Safely from 4.5.12 to 4.4?
Just spent an hour installing 4.5.12... to say the least, the results, especially the scenery, are downright horrible...much work to be done here LM... I have saved the install files from 4.4... can I safely revert to 4.4 by the "update" process (i.e., just running the client, content and ...

Re: Change Default Flight in P3D4.4
Hi Rob and all...sorry for the late reply...just got busy on other matters... I have tried the check "Default" box on the save scenario screen but it does not work... I read on-line that to change the default scenario, you had to use a stock P3D4 plane...I tried that and it appeared to wor...

Change Default Flight in P3D4.4
I am using P3D4.4 running under Windows 10 fully updated on a powerful gaming computer... For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get this done...in prior versions, I think you could save a flight and make it the default...no such option I can find in 4.4.... There is a "save scenario&quo...

Re: P3D4.4 Leisure Boats Have Vapor Trails to the Sky
Hi Jan...once again, thanks for all your help... especially over Xmas... I tried renaming the one file you suggest and it did not help... I will begin to rename all the suggested files one at a time...is it OK to: 1) Leave all of them renamed as I go through the list?...or should I immediately react...

Re: P3D4.4 Leisure Boats Have Vapor Trails to the Sky
Hi Jan...I did not ever find the file fx_wake_coastguard.fx to begin with... I created it in the "Effects" folder by copying and renaming the fx_wake_l.fx folder which I found initially in my "Effects" folder...all this per your instructions... I do not have the Tonga Fjord scene...

Re: P3D4.4 Leisure Boats Have Vapor Trails to the Sky
Hi Jan..thanks for the prompt reply and help... Unfortunately, nothing helps...I may have misunderstood your instructions.... Here's what I did/tried: 1) I found the file "fx_wake_l.fx" (File 1)... I copied it and renamed the copy "fx_wake_coastguard.fx" (File 2)...I left both fi...
