QFE & QNH - when in ATC mode
Hi, i'm running V4 and have 2 computers connected - one with our Grob Tutor add-on and the other in Air Traffic Control mode - running multiplayer. i'm using all the radar and associated windows, but can't find any mention of QFE or QNH - am i just blind or are these not available at ATC (which woul...

Re: not seeing the correct aircraft

not seeing the correct aircraft
we're running V4 on 2 PCs - one for the aircraft and one for ATC.
both have the IRIS Grob Tutor added, but the ATC sees the Grob as a Cessna 172 or something.
We must be doing something wrong - any ideas please?
Thanks in advance.
Dan

Re: Multiplayer in 4.3
I can confirm that it was down to version numbers - did the update (which was really easy) and all ok.

Re: Multiplayer in 4.3
this seems like a common problem... we have 2 PCs on the same LAN, when I create a multiplayer 'host' on either PC, and use 'direct IP' it just comes back as can't connect. what we've tried already... - Router can see both PCs - I can ping each PC from the other. - I have created port forwarding in ...

Re: camera adjustments needed
There is a detailed Learning Center article covering camera configuration here: https://prepar3d.com/SDKv4/sdk/cameras/camera_configuration.html Let me know if you have any additional questions. Hi Rob, thanks for the link, but i don't really understand the majority of that table. I've already chan...

camera adjustments needed
Hi everyone, in the image below you'll see our Grob Tutor flight sim using P3D V4. we've moved the in-game camera to try and capture the cockpit in the centre, but there's a couple of adjustments we could do with that i'm hoping someone can help with please. we would like to: keep the wings at the h...

Re: recommended system spec for ATC only
If the two PC are both connected IU have to install P3D on each machine and so, one can make ATC thanks, BLB, but I was trying to use a less powerful PC for the ATC to save on cost (because Rob McCarthy said the ATC P3D machine still needs to be minimum spec). so, back the original question... is t...

Re: recommended system spec for ATC only
i'm running local LAN and not connected to the internet, will that make any difference?Looks like you could achieve this with PC1 using P3D connected to IVAO / AVSIM and PC2 using only the IVAO / AVSIM ATC Client.
(sorry, i'm new to this).

Re: recommended system spec for ATC only
i just realised that i may not have explained myself very well in my first post... i already have p3d v4 running on another PC for our Grob Tutor simulator, but we want to have someone be full time atc/tower/ground on another PC. we're using teamspeak for the voice comms and i hoped that i could run...

Re: recommended system spec for ATC only
received and understood.
whilst i thought p3d would be the best option, i guess i'll have to look for an alternative ATC package that is less graphically intensive.
thanks,
Dan

recommended system spec for ATC only
Hi,
I want to build a PC to run p3d v4 atc only.
I've seen the minimum and recommended specs, but wondered if i don't need this to be as powerful for just ATC mode?
thanks in advance,
Dan

Re: Maps to android
Thanks Jester945... should i assume then that the only way to do this is through a 'paid for' add-in of some sort - P3D doesn't provide this facility directly?
