Re: Will larger monitor show more or just larger?
Neo44, Effectively, you will not be able to see more because all you're doing is just increasing the size and resolution of the display. So all you'll get from your 40" display is just a larger but equal view of what you already have. The only way to see more, as Rob suggested, is to adjust the...

Re: P3Dv4 & AMD CTD atidxx64.dll
Thanks Sky_king, I don't have any custom driver settings currently. I figured since I was experiencing instability, it was best to use an absolute basic "as installed" setup. This Asus 290X has been a solid card since I bought it when it first hit the market, it's out of warranty now thoug...

Re: P3Dv4 & AMD CTD atidxx64.dll
Hi: I have a R9 270X and wonder what temperature your card is running at. It sure sounds like a temperature issue if it crashes after 30 minutes. Can you adjust your fan settings? What settings are you using in CCC? Also, when you installed the Radeon driver, did you also install "Relive"...

Re: P3Dv4 & AMD CTD atidxx64.dll
Hello, How much VRAM does your card have? Are you using any addons? If so, have you done any tests with default Prepar3D? Have you tried lowering your graphics settings in Prepar3D? Regards, Kayla Hi Kayla, Thanks for responding and apologies for the delay in getting back to you. My card has 4GB to...

P3Dv4 & AMD CTD atidxx64.dll
So after nearly 72 hours of diagnostics and testing various configurations, following suggestions given throughout this forum as well as LMs own troubleshooting guide, I've reached the limit of my technical know-how on this one. Seems that P3Dv4 is not compatible with my AMD R9 290X. After 30-40 min...

Re: P3d V4 crash after about 30-40 minutes
I had the exact same problem which I ultimately traced to FSUIPC 5. Uninstalled and removed the Modules folder from the P3D root seems to have fixed it for me. Seems there are some compatibility issues with FSUIPC and P3Dv4 at the moment.

Re: Prepar3D v4 is not starting (due to sound cards)
Hello, I had the same issue with audio preventing P3d V4 from starting and I was pulling my hair out to try and find a resolution. Whilst problem solving I decided to try installing a codec pack for Windows (typed a search and found a codec pack from www.codecguide.com (K-Lite) and installed the st...
