Hello P3D v4 and graphics card GTX970 Helping a friend fix an issue the last official Nvidia driver and the hotfix version installed the startup screen looks like this

We downgraded to Nvidia 466.77 and P3D does not have the graphics corruption and loads fine.

Everyone is having higher fps? I do not believe it. The fps is worse. It could be the new night lights. The base v5 was great performance since the hotfixes and 5.1 performance gets worse.

Every version of v5 performs worse on my old PC. Latest v5 Hotfix 2 is the worst compared to the last. The release notes said this was designed to increase performance? Clean full install of 5.1 HF2. Lowered sliders and antialiasing with no effect!

Create an invisible apron over area that is a bridge and uncheck draw surface and detail

The terrain looks bad but I will choose a working ground without holes over the looks of a bridge

What if an aircraft.cfg is using encoding UTF-8? not USC-2 or ANSI?

The standard of your sim for XML files is UTF-8 and for CFG files is USC-2

Are there any issues with the sim if an aircraft has encoding different than USC-2 for the aircraft.cfg?

Allowing callsigns for AI and user aircraft including in traffic files with letters in them. Ex Callsign BAW219V
