Despite uninstalling v5 shortly after purchase and receiving a refund when I install commercial scenery / aircraft it is still offered as a installation option on my system.

How can I fix this?

I've just given up with trying to be part of the "beta test" team. I've uninstalled it and will come back in a few months when hopefully things are much more stable. Apologies this doesn't offer a positive contribution to the discussion but v5 just lacks the refinement that v4 had on launch.

I have come across this problem (wind direction / runway use) with UK2000's EGCC.

Has there been a "fix" for it published?

Is there a relation between the Texture Resolution [OPTIONS>WORLD] and Texture Resolution [OPTIONS>DISPLAY] in terms of the visual represented in sim or do they influence separate elements of the virtual world?

I have achieved everything I wanted to which was to update the client to 4.5 only . I was wondering why I see a entry on my programs list as shown in the screenshot for "P repar3D v4 Academic" 4.4.16.27077 "". Nothing wrong at all...just adding to my knowledge with a answer hopef...

I removed the v4.4 client prior to installing the v4.5 client.

A refresh of the ORBX libraries seems to have solved the problem.

At a small number of default airports (KSDF / KMIA) I have come across a few black default buildings that are missing their "textures". My suspicion is that a few default textures are missing. Is there a "quick fix" for this that does not require the re installation of the scener...

I found the problem only occurred if I prepared a flight in P3D with the flight plan loaded and then exited the sim.

When I returned to make the flight the problem occurred. If I didn't load the flight plan until I was ready to make the flight everything ran fine.

Ok...with the power of Google I understand this maybe a PTA problem which requires a update to support v4.1.

I will keep you advised.

I understand I need a copy of the original shaders.

Well I removed recently installed addons (mainly aircraft that are P3Dv4 compatible) and have now completed three flights in which ATC functioned correctly.

No idea why a compatible aircraft should cause this problem as to the best of my knowledge they wouldn't modify any ATC files?
