Re: Very dark cockpit in 5.2
Can anyone confirm if this works in 5.2 HF1? I tried it. All you get is a black screen now. This mod no longer works. Same here, black screen in v5.2.22.27615 (v5.2 HF1). I deleted contents of Shaders folder. Any ideas? Thanks. PS: Sorry! It works now, all is good. I did not realize I just didn't c...

Re: hotfix 4.5
Guys, what is the motivation behind purposely misleading people by wrong information? Or can you give a reliable resource for this claim that the hotfix is released on Tuesday this week? You sure their information is wrong? )) I'm anxiously waiting for the fix myself, my hands are itching to instal...

Re: scenery priority in v4
Ok I got flytampa EHAM and YSSY to work with add-on.xml. jackscrj , before creating add-on.xml how did you manage to install Amsterdam outside of Prepar3D v4 folder? In my case I created Prepar3D v4 Add-ons folder and dropped Prepar3D.exe there to circumvent the installer looking for an exe file. T...

Re: Unistall P3dv4
Hello, No, you cannot. You will have to at least uninstall the Client, which will prompt you to deactivate. This would be faster than uninstalling the entire program. Regards, Kayla If the removal of the Client does not entail changes in the file and registry structures then it is a great easy solu...

Re: Unistall P3dv4
Can I deactivate the license without uninstalling P3Dv4? I'd like to see how the program installs certain add-ons on my other PC, then return the License back to the main P3Dv4 machine with a proper installation procedure for this add-on?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: MyTraffic 6a For Prepar3D v3 & v4
Thanks for the xml method of installation in Prepar3D v4. MyTraffic6 got installed properly and it worked Ok. However when I turned on Content Error Reporting in Options and launched P3D I cringed at the huge list of MT6 errors in ContentErrors.txt , around 800+ total. All those errors may cost you ...

Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
What you did just simply taxed the graphics card less now which causes no long frames on your DX device and thus, no device hung errors. As far as I understand from conversations with Beau, the real issue is that P3D cannot *recover* from the hung device message - he said this might not be possible...

Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
Hey guys, I've fixed my XGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG error by setting Special Effects form High back to Medium!! (Special Effects @High was in FSLabs_RecommendedSettings_P3D_v2.pdf) Also, note, after every instance of P3D you need to REBOOT the computer before launching P3D again. I think this has somethin...
