TextureCompositor initialization failed. Prepar3D will break.
Just bought and installed today. Get this error every single time I try to enable Oculus VR. It still works if click OK. I did find the VR hotfix 2 and successfully installed and enabled (ran it before I found this and was wondering why it was so stuttery locked at 80 FPS). Again, it's locked at 80 ...

Mouselook not working
For some reason unknown to me mouselook stopped working. I can press space, or Shift-O and the cursor turns into the crosshair, but I cannot look around. Literally nothing happens when I move the mouse. Anyone know why?

Re: Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this screenshot?
Yes, it didn't look like that at first, I noticed it after I was hopping around airports. I had the Flytamp_st maarten scenery installed, and slewed to Saba (which doesn't show up as open, or even a landmass) and my framerates went through the floor. 12 FPS on a 1070 when I get 60-90 in Oculus at OR...

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this screenshot?
I had a bunch of add-ons but I disabled everything but the defaults, and TNCM looks like this :(

There are mounds on the runway. Or the runway is sunken.

Re: Map mode on the Garmin 430 Bonanza A36
Hi, How do you even select an airport? Does it only work with the Flight Planner?

ARM button on autopilot
Can somebody tell me what the ARM button does on the autopilot? I'm guessing it's for an autothrottle that the A36 doesn't have?

Re: Cannot manually start the aircraft
It looks like this: <Section Name="Fuel.0"> <Property Name="TankSelector" Value="All" /> <Property Name="TankSelector1" Value="All" /> <Property Name="Center" Value="100" /> <Property Name="LeftMain" Value="100"...

Cannot manually start the aircraft
Hi, I'm a PPL in real life, but I am having difficulty with ALL of the planes. I cannot seem to start the engine using the control panel switches on any of the planes! I turn on the battery and alt, turn on the fuel (If it's off), turn on the fuel pump. set the mixture to rich- even turn on the avio...

Re: Saitek Cessna Yoke not linear
It's in every aircraft. I see the problem, Prepar3D has some sort of "Smoothing" thing. In X-Plane, my yoke is exactly in the position of my actual yoke. In Prepared, the yoke is never, ever the angle of my real yoke. It seems to have some sort of curve when it has less movement at center,...

Re: Keyboard wont work in atc wit P3D V3.3
I guess this hasn't changed. Why use the ATC? It's garbage. Until you can just talk into a mic, why bother? It's not realistic, and even if you're one of the few actually using it for training, you're learning bad habits.

Re: Saitek Cessna Yoke not linear
Hi, it's the Cessna yoke. The calibration seems fine. But in the sim, it's "laggy". It not only seems slow to respond, but like it has a strange response. If I tilt the yoke 40 degrees, the yoke on the Bonanza is only about 10 degrees. If I tilt it a full 90, the Bonanza suddenly jumps to ...

Saitek Cessna Yoke not linear
Hi, I just got this sim and a Saitek Yoke. I'm a real life PPL and it looked really neat compared to the old flight simulator I used to use. However, I'm a bit disappointed by the absolutely horrific control. A Bonanza felt very sluggish (it's not) and I looked down and the yoke was 3 seconds behind...
