Re: Terrain/Texture Isuues - what could it be?
Did you by any chance go to VR camera while flying? This issue happens to me when I tried it for pips and giggles, as well as a ~10 FPS drop. The only way I fixed it was to save the flight and restart the sim.

Re: Huge VAS Problems
Try disabling everything from Orbx and trying again. I know it's a pain but I'm pretty sure something somewhere in the Orbx suite of products is causing/compounding issues with the latest P3D versions.

Re: OOM reproducible
I ran Shojom's test and can confirm that my stock sim does OOM in around the same time.

Re: Out of Memory
How many people are going to have to post here before this is recognized as a major problem? Either let us revert to 3.2, revert whatever is affecting memory management as of 3.3, or fix the issue completely and release a hotfix.

Re: Out of Memory
"Does default P3D show this behavior?"
You promote addons on your webpage, there's absolutely no disclaimer saying they would affect the experience in any way. There is a definite problem with P3D not releasing memory properly anymore, a whole lot of us have been reporting it since 3.3.

Re: Out of Memory
Addon developers blame p3d, LM blames addons and round and round we go until we get so frustrated we go out and buy real airplanes. I've asked this before but seeing as LM is already in this thread, when can we get some sort of VAS monitor that details which assets are loaded in and how much memory ...

Re: Out of Memory
If so, your Addon(s) are the problem with your setup .. not P3D? You have one scenario where all addons and P3D work well enough (3.3.5), then you have another scenario where P3D is upgraded to 3.4.9 and nothing changes addon side and you say there is an issue with addons. Something changed between...

Re: Out of Memory
It shouldn't make a difference the hotfix didn't do anything with respect to VAS.

Re: Out of Memory
Martyson, the sim is as of 3.4.9 is not releasing memory properly, nowhere near as efficiently as 3.3.

Suggestion to help determine cause of OOMs
Would it be possible to let us see a process explorer style of assets loaded in P3D VAS at any given time? I'm at wit's end with trying to deal with this crap.

Re: memory bleeding caused by car traffic?
Not sure, I'm getting memory leaks regardless of camera.cfg fixes or car traffic. I'm resigned to sticking with 3.3 until they go 64-bit.

Re: VAS management seen in earlier versions not working anymore
Both client and content were uninstalled and updated. I've even recently rebuilt my CFG file and cleared scenery indexes and shaders.

Re: VAS management seen in earlier versions not working anymore
I am seeing a bunch of topics on the PMDG support forums that the 777 is having memory leakage issues with 3.3.5 that were introduced by the patch to 3.3.5. The issue sounds like the one I'm having. Basically after a flight and landing and parking at a gate, the VAS remaining is often several hundre...

VAS management seen in earlier versions not working anymore
Using 3.3.5. I'm noticing that VAS does not recuperate itself any efficiently as it did in earlier versions. This is with the PMDG 777 and various addons, which have not changed since version 3 came out.
