Re: Issue with lines on cockpit window
I can't understand why this issue was introduced with v4.3, anyway it's very annoying and it's not acceptable to have sceneries objects flickering (in a sim where far objects already flicker since it's not possible to use SSAA) as a workaround. I really hope LM is working on a fix and releases it a...

Re: Issue with lines on cockpit window
There are two workarounds: 1. Change clipmode to minimum in cam definition within the camera.cfg 2. Override the near clip plane of the camera, using NearClipOverride property. NearClipOverride=1.5 eliminates the problem, at least for FSLabs’ airplanes. I recommend to try the second alternative. Acc...

Try with 'Lighting Options – Shadows – Simulation Objects – Receive' ON.

Re: OOM with traffic enabled
I thought that this 'road traffic eating VAS' problem is specific to my setup as there were no reactions to my post http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=116463&p=127076#p127076 from December. I tested it with FTX Vector disabled bot not uninstalled . Thus, it seems that Vecto...

Re: p3d v 3.2 one step to perfection
Negative. No hardware is able to hold FPS constantly above 50.maca11 wrote:50 Hz is minimum I can do there , unfortunately.. Can that help ?

Re: p3d v 3.2 one step to perfection
You have to create a CUSTOM resolution. But, as I said, your monitor must support 30Hz.maca11 wrote:OK, Thanks !
But NVIDIA control and windows control panel allows only 60hz...(no chance to rewrite or change)...

Re: p3d v 3.2 one step to perfection
Set the monitor frequency to 30Hz in Windows (if your monitor supports it). In P3D: Target frame rate unlimited, VSync On, Triple Buffering enabled. This eliminates all stuttering if your FPS doesn't drop below 30 (strong GPU required).

Re: AF and antializing fixed?
One more point of view on AA in P3D, namely shimmering. It depends on the quality of add-ons too. More specifically, correct usage of mipmaps is important. With well designed airport/aircraft and 8xMS in the sim, shimmering is almost nonexistent. Interesting information about eliminating shimmering ...

Re: AF and antializing fixed?
SGSS does eat a lot of performance, but it's far from unusable. In what way should Pascal GPUs "solve" that? How you spend limited resources is a matter of preferences. SGSS decimates my FPS from 50 to 25 at Flytampa Sydney with overcast ASN weather. For me that is absolutely unacceptable...

Re: AF and antializing fixed?
I am running 4x MS in the sim, 4x SGSS and no FXAA. Have you tried 8xMS in the sim? It's better than it was in 3.1, especially in the case of runways and other airport scenery. I use it with FXAA in NI and it's actually very good. As good as SGSS? No, but SGSS is just not usable due to its performa...

Re: AF and antializing fixed?
Antialiasing is improved. I cannot support it with quantitative data, but would bet they added Transparency Multisampling and/or Supersampling. In version 3.1, I used Transparency Multisampling ON + 8x Supersampling (not Sparse Grid) in Nvidia Inspector with very good results. Now I can switch those...
