Which version of P3D?

Postby mcieplinski » Sun Jul 21, 2019 4:17 pm

Hi, I would like to buy P3D, but I'm not sure which version will support my computer:
Win 10
Intel i5 6200U CPU @ 2.30 GHz 2.40 GHz
AMD Radeon M5 M430
Intel HD Graphics 520.

Is there any P3D version that will work on such equipment? Thanks for your reply and help.

Hello mcieplinski,

You can find the system requirements for Prepar3D on this page: https://prepar3d.com/system-requirements/

I'm not very familiar with the computer's specifications and system requirements for P3D. Therefore, please help, will any P3D version run on my computer? I have an FSX that goes very smoothly. I will be grateful for the answers.

I will interpret the systems requirements for you.

The only version of P3D you can purchase right now is v. 4.5. With the computer mentioned, you will be very unhappy with P3D, since the computer is on the margin of being able to run the sim. Stay with FSX until you can get a more powerful computer.

Sorry to say it like this, but that is how it is.

System: i7-7700K @ 4.66 GHz, ASUS Z170-A motherboard, 16 GB of 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM, nVidia GTX 960 graphics w/ 4 GB DDR5 VRAM, Windows 10 Home.
