Those two are the ones you have to pay for, I think.

Then you should have what I have, and still getting the error.......

Now, here's a long shot, but you never know:

When you run Windows Update, under Advanced options in Update, is the switch "Receive updates for other Microsoft products" set to On?

I have tried everything with no success, I am going to uninstall P3D and delete my current installer and get a new installer

I have just learned that I have Windows 10 Educational do you think this may be the cause?

I don't really think so that the Educational version is a problem, as long as it is up to v. 2004.

When you reinstall, remember to run the installer as Administrator, and install outside the default location - on the first screen of the installation, hit Options, and install to something like C:\P3D. Better even if you can install to a different drive.

This is a new one for me... pid.dll error.

Try this command, run from a command prompt:

sfc /scannow

This will check for damaged files and repair them.

UPDATE P3D RANDOMLY OPENED

[UPDATE] it crashed 1 minute later and hasn't opened since

I have found the cause of the update! my joystick doesn't run with P3D
