I was playing with the rendering service from the PDK, and particularly with the objects Draw calls (DrawSphere, DrawCylinder, etc).
Those are nice little functions, even if it's not possible (for now?) to apply a texture to those objects.
However, the biggest limitation for me in fact is that the object is rendered without respect to ambient lighting. So at night, you get really bright objects, which might be nice for some use cases, but not for all.
I wonder if it's possible in a future version to add those objects in the lighting pass as for normal scenery objects. And maybe make it like the AddLight call (ie add this paramater: bool bAttenuateByAmbient ).
Maybe the RenderFlags already enable that, but I could not use those to do what I want?
