Re: Simdirector: CTD when trying to place object

Manschy, For the 0xc0000409, try taking a look here: https://www.stellarinfo.com/blog/fix-software-exception-0xc0000409-error/ and the 0xe0434352 points to a .NET Framework issue. What I would do here is: 1. Run Windows Update, and in Update, under Advanced options, make sure the switch "Receiv...

Re: Simdirector: CTD when trying to place object

Note down the approximate time of a crash first. If you don't remember, then provoke a crash. Now right-click on your Windows Start button, and select "Event Viewer" from the menu. In Event Viewer, click on the little arrow next to "Windows Logs", then click on "Application&...

Manschy,

Is there anything in the Windows Event Viewer at the time of the crash, especially is there an exception code?

Re: CTD P3d v4.5

The mention of possible heating issues brings this up: If the computer is question is a laptop, make sure its ventilation openings are not dusty or even clogged with dust, and make sure it is positioned so it can get rid of the warm air from the exhaust. Re: CTD P3d v4.5

EMFBI, I see you have a 650 watt Power Supply. I am wondering whether you need something that will give you more headroom...at least 750, maybe 1000. Simply thinking, your computer may be getting too hot. Sherm Definitely something to check, but don't rush to buy anything. Kernalbase errors can be ...

But this was good news!

Happy to help -

Re: CTD P3d v4.5

Jorgen, Just to let you know. I uninstalled p3d and all addons. Reinstalled a clean P3d, added each addon one at a time. After each install, loaded P3d. After all of the installs completed, loaded a flight plan (DC-8) completed the flight and happy to report not a single issue. Obviously there was s...

Re: CTD_g2d.dll

Christoph,

Geir is absolutely correct, the thread he references has a couple of solutions worth trying, and my post in there tells you why this is happening.

If the error persists in spite of these suggestions, then please post your system specifications.

Re: CTD P3d v4.5

This, according to my logic, points at one or more of the add-on aircraft so far.

Try to fly the F-22 around some more and see what happens.
