Re: P3D 4.5.13 -> UTC Time faulty

Mine is off, too, but not as bad as yours. I am in the Eastern timezone and with Daylight Savings Time currently in effect am GMT-4 but when I check the UTC box the time jumps ahead 5 hours which means it is ignoring DST. I find it really interesting that both of our systems are sing the same GMT-5 ...

Re: P3D 4.5.13 -> UTC Time faulty

I'll check it when I get home tonight, but what am I looking for? What do you consider "strange results"?

Re: Legacy updates

"Just for follow up, give an example of a plane that has a problem and how does the problem present itself?" VRS Tacpac , Superbug only supports up to Academic 4.5.12.30293. P3D does not show 4.5.12.30293.zip as available or as a legacy download. Hang in there a bit longer. It shouldn't be too much...

Re: Sensitivity Sliders Question

Yes, you can do that. On the Calibrations screen there is a checkbox for Use Simple Control. Uncheck that and you can set the sensitivity and null zones for each axis independently.

I tried both of those addresses and they both redirected to prepar3d.com so you are probably fine.

Re: When will bugs in the original ESP code be fixed?

Don't confuse "bug" with "functioning as designed". Just because the AI wasn't programmed to mimic real life operation at all airports doesn't mean it's a bug. If anything, it's a "feature request".

Re: Cold and Dark Mode, unless scenario chages it to "started" state

Start a flight in the aircraft you want cold and dark then run through the shutdown procedure. Once everything is shut off, save the scenario. Next time you fly it, it will be in the cold and dark state you are looking for.

Re: VR: How to use touch controllers of Oculus Rift CV1

The touch controllers don't work in P3D. They never have. It's not that something is broken, it's just that P3D is not programmed to use them.

At least that is my understanding.

Re: Extreme number of errors in ContentErrors.txt

Is it normal? No. Is it harmful? Again, the general consensus is also no. Depending on what's it the log you might be able to track down what's causing the log entries. The are usually caused by 3rd party add ons. That log exists for diagnostic purposes. If everything appears to be working normally ...

Re: Runway and Landing Lights POP

If this is what I think it is, the rendering engine will only paint something when it reaches a certain number of pixels. A similar result of this is AI aircraft. Once they get a certain distance away where they shrink to that pixel limit, they disappear. You have the reverse effect when you get clo...

Sounds to me like you have a corrupt download. Did you check the MD5 hash values?
