back in earlier versions of 2.x Carenado cockpits suffered the same thing, the vendor suggested turning off reflections would fix it. perhaps it might work for you in this case too.

The other day I posted this question to this very forum only to find today that post had disappeared? It was not moved, it seems to have been deleted by the moderator as I cannot find it. Since it was a simple question and contained no foul language (only the word frikkin) I am surprised LM deemed i...

Head over to the ORBX/FTX Terrain forums and ask if their UK- England region already includes a modelled Bournemouth. Considering the entire region was years in the making and every tile hand laid I'd suggest you're more than catered for. Having one airport modelled is one thing, having the entire c...

There has been no announcement that further production on P3D has come to an end. Therefore I would think it safe to assume work is continuing, why would you think otherwise?

I'm assuming you want to set them for each aircraft so that you don't have to change them ever again. Search the web for how to change the camera view angles and distances, there's plenty of material out there. The same solutions for FSX work for P3D. You'll be looking for the InitialZoom=xx values ...

Old John,

If you haven't updated your rig in a long time you won't get the full benefits of P3D's upgraded graphics such as shadows if your video card is not DirectX 11 compatible.

Known issue:

The reason no-one may have responded is that there are already threads about this issue which have run their course, a simple search would have saved you posting a new thread on the same subject.

Yes, incredibly slow process and a misleading prompt. The full install is even worse, over half an hour. As I have mentioned in previous posts, the entire patch process needs to be built in to the launcher - LM need to be dragged into the 21st century and get with the times with a slick interface.

Its not that hard to hit that setup button again for addons.
Store your addon programs in folders that have some logical order to them so that you don't miss one and can rinse/repeat for the next major upgrade.
For your aircraft that have customised settings/repaints just keep a copy of ...

Hosting the patch violates your EULA. http://www.prepar3d.com/support/end-user-license-agreement-eula/

Specifically section 4 and subsection 4.3; ie your license could be revoked.

Post at your risk in other words.

When LM first released v2.0 I too wondered if my GPU was being correctly selected, so much so that in my efforts to prove to myself that P3D was indeed using the GTX740M I used nVidia Inspector to overclock the card so much that it might crash on use.

And it did :)

Besides ...

I had the same issue.

Don't remove the tick from the Prompt On Exit check box under the General settings.

Worked for me.
