Release Notes
Prepar3D version 6.1 is here bringing multiple new features and improvements to the Prepar3D simulation platform. Experience enhanced graphics performance with Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) and FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR2) support. See greater image quality and clarity with Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing (DLAA), improved Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA), and Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS). Screen Space Reflections (SSR) bring greater detail and realism to reflective surfaces. Additionally many tree models have been updated with high detail 3D models supporting both wind and precipitation effects, multiple performance improvements have been made across various systems including rendering and vegetation to better support higher fidelity training scenarios, and patch installation speed has been improved.

To install Prepar3D v6.1 run Setup_Prepar3D.exe or follow the instructions is auto updating is enabled. To install future updates to Prepar3D v6 follow the instructions in the application if automatic update notifications are enabled. Additionally future patches will also be available in the downloads page to download and install manually. Update files can be ran without requiring Prepar3D v6 to be uninstalled beforehand. Simply run the Prepar3D_v6_VERSION_Patch.exe file to seamlessly update Prepar3D v6 to the latest version. Refer to the Prepar3D v6 Download and Installation Instructions for more information.

- Added support for FSR2 and DLSS/DLAA. Note: DLSS/DLAA is only available with Nvidia 2000 series cards or above.
- Added Resolution Scaling support for image upsampling and supersampling.
- Added screen space reflections (SSR).

- Fixed issue where invalid waypoints in flight plan could prevent remaining valid points from connecting properly.

- Fixed timing issues with Select Airport screen that could cause incorrect airport from being selected in some cases.

- Fixed emissive script behavior for legacy PBR materials that could lead to washed out textures at night.

- Fixed issue with effects not drawing on multiple displays connected to the same multichannel client.

Fixes and Improvements
