Prioritization of Scenery Library

Any issues, problems or troubleshooting topics related to the Prepar3D client application.

Are there any accepted rules for prioritizing (for performance)
the order of scenery as listed in the "Scenery Library?"
...I have a lot of Orbx products (Global, some regions, Vector)
...I notice they are at the top of the list (and probably with
good reason)....though Vector is down some from the first
group at the top...I am running P3D2.2 on a powerful
gaming computer with W-7 64....thanks for any thoughts

In general, the recommended stack order is (from highest to lowest):

Addon airports
ORBX full fat regions like FTX EU England
ORBX OPENLC
Stock FSX/P3D regions/cities/object libraries
ORBX Vector other
0000 - 1107 Base
ORBX Vector AEC (Airport elevation Corrections)
Default Scenery
Default Terrain

Note: Addon object libraries like Len's EZ Scenery Lib can be placed anywhere in the stack.
For the detailed order of Orbx packages you should check the manuals and /or the Orbx forums.
To increase performance, it helps to de-activate scenery you are not using.

I have been running with the following configuration quite well:

Addon airports
ORBX Stuff, usually leave it up to ORBX to sort how they say is right
UTX
3rd party Landclass (covering more than UTX, but less detailed)
FS Global Mesh
Default Terrain and Scenery

Have had 0 problems with this. The point is having stuff that covers less higher in the hierarchy.
