Unable to uninstall Prepar 3D v4 Content

Postby grimsbee5 » Mon Dec 24, 2018 4:28 pm

I am updating to P3dV4.4.
I have installed the client without a problem, and checked that it is v4.4 in P3D.
I want to also update Content. When trying to uninstall Prepar 3D v4 Content from the control panel a Windows Installer box pops up that says;
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

There is also a browse button, but as I don't know where the installation package for Prepar 3D v4 Content is installed to I cannot browse to it to uninstall it.

The if I click ok it says; The path xxx \\Content.msi cannot be found.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Resolved. I had moved the install package to a different folder.

Installed both client and content to v4.4.
All is okay except that I have no ATC voices.
I can pull up the menu but cannot hear atc when selecting. It is not greyed out though as in prevoius version?

Have you looked into the sound settings options?
I think, by default, P3D brings the ATC into a (maybe inexistent) headset output.
Choose your audio default output there and ATC sohuld be hearable via loudspeaker again.
