Hello Rob and @ll,

I have recently developed a content protection system for simulator assets. It makes certain that only a running P3D process can read your content (=everything that you can establish as an AddonComponent in a package).

If you'd like to know more, just send me a message.

Best regards

Where can I read academic research papers on this very topic ? I am writer at thetermpapers service, I want find some good sources for client's paper.

You'll find those "papers" on PirateBay ... along with the sales agreement for the Brooklyn Bridge.

"academic research papers" ... too funny, it's a "commercial" issue and nothing to do with academia. A commercial business knows it's theft prevention and recovery rates, that's why DRM is still being used by 97% of the software being sold. If it really was a waste of time and effort, it wouldn't be implemented, and yet it is ... sooo, doesn't take "academic research papers" to confirm the falsehood of EllipticCurve's post.

Cheers, Rob.
