Networked Computers 10Gb port

Doing a new PC build, ultimately this will be a networked JetMax sim.
I’m debating between the ASRock Z370 Fatal1ty i7 and the k6.
As far as I can tell the i7 board has a 10 gigabit Ethernet port, which is about 10x faster than most switches and lan ports. Is there any need for this or save the hundred bucks and go with the k6?
