[RESOLVED] Made The Move From FSX To P3dV4 - Advice Needed
Posted: Wed Jan 03, 2018 10:05 am
Hi everyone.
First poster here!!
I have finally made the move over the P3dv4 from FSX.
The only real difference I have noticed are the shadows and the water that looks a whole lot better. I have just upgraded my graphics card and have P3dv4 and all ORbx products running on a standalone Samsung 2TB NVMe SSD 960 pro.
System Specs
Win 10 64 bit
I7 5960x processor
16GB ram
Asus rampage V Extreme motherboard
Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti graphics card
I have all regions, LC, most airports of ORBX and I did a test run. I found after maxing out everything in the graphics I was only getting 7-9 FPS over Los Angeles city. I though with my graphics card it would chew it up and I would at least get 25-30 fps.
Am I expecting too much? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
