Hi

When I flight at low altitudes, bridges looks like this:

But at high altitudes, the same bridge looks like this:

Is this a bug or happens in a specific situation?

Same problem here. The problem already existed in P3D 2.2, so I was a little disappointed, it wasn't adressed in P3D 2.3. It is really annoying when flying above a certain altitude. The problem seems to begin somewhere between 5000 and 10000 ft AGL.

Or is it a only a problem for some users and some special settings they have and couldn't be reproduced by LM?

I'd really appreciate LM to give a comment on this - or even better a fix.

Great work LM anyway! Thanks.

I didn't find a bridge that doesn't look like this. I just tested in Paris and Seattle where there are lots of different bridges. All show the problem that can be seen in the picture posted by sedacajr. I tested with and without ORBX Vector and with and without ORBX PNW. Same problem.

Yes. The problem occurs with all bridges. No exception. Even with ORBX or without it.

I did a bridge screenshot (quick look) and a video of showing the bridge look at various altitudes.

Vaughan,

thanks for doing this test flight.

I went there too (slewing) and can confirm that the Ambassador Bridge in Detroit looks ok on my system too. But if you take a closer look at the bridge in the background right behind Ambassador Bridge at 8:20 (must be Fisher Fwy according to googlemaps) you should be able to see the problem. I'm not sure if it can be seen in the video because the resolution seems to be too low.

Would you mind taking a look at the bridges in Paris and Seattle (just for example) also? Even though I think you can start noticing the problem between 5000 and 10000 ft AGL, it becomes more obvious the higher you get.

Ralf,

Just wondering if you were able to select a higher resolution here:

Also, David mentioned he has the problem on all bridges ...

But yes, I will go to KSEA and look around.

Ralf,

KSEA bridges P3D V2.3 short video.

Try selecting 1080 P (per my previous post)

Thanks for that video, Vaughan.

My bridges look pretty much the same as in your video. With some bridges the problem is more obvious than with others. In your video the problem becomes most obvious at 5:40 as soon as you come out of that cloud. It's the bridge on the left you then turn away from. Not so obvious with the bridge on the right you focus on. If you climb higher, maybe 12000 ft, it becomes even more obvious.

So I think it can be regarded as confirmed that this is a general problem, that should be adressed.

Regards

I use to remove all roads and bridges because they still look so messy and I do this with FTX Vector and most of it indeed is gone, except for some bridges. Even when I turn off all roads and bridges in the terrain.cfg, some bridges remain, so I think some bridges are indeed not working properly in some way.

The worst thing with this bug is that when the bridges are heightened they cause lots of aliasing, and they become really distracting.
