Configuring weapons onto my own vehicle

Postby Barney_LM » Mon Apr 23, 2018 8:46 am

How do I configure weapons for my own vehicle?

I plan to configure my custom F-16 so that it has 20mm cannon or similar

Is this something i need to do in the aircraft.cfg file?

Regards
Barney

Hello,

There is a tutorial on Weapon Attachment in the Learning Center:

I have followed this tutorial.

However the weapons that I have attached to my aircraft do not work. None of the weapon controls in the control settings do not work either.

I have also tried firing weapons on other aircrafts and none of them can fire weapons either

I am using P3D v4 Pro Plus

Baarney

Hello,

There is an example of the Attachment.xml for the F16 in Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\F-16A

You can experiment with this plane in Prepar3D by selecting it in the Vehicle UI.
