hi guys, one question, why some scenes just won't use pc? almost all scenes use cpu/gpu good - 60-99% at 33fps 1/3 v-sync of monitor, but some scenes like london use 12gb memory of 32 set 17gb commit, and use only 15% cpu, my guess 1/8 of 8c cpu, so on gpu use 50%, why i know my settings is overload + addons, but why even hard scenes can not use cpu? btw i do not use pagefile.sys, as virtual memory with 32gb i think is can help only if soft requires... what i understud is something of prepar3d stay single core must be some dll, or any part of code, i do not know, but what i can see in normal situation cpu and gpu can use bouth around 99%, but some hard scenes can not do something because off something in the sim use cpu as single core stuff and other parts of sim stay out of work as depend of this part of code, what can use cpu only as single core... or this is something in the system(win10), what overload as do not multithread suff, in any way we got some strange situation, place what in p3d x86 get down, with x64 just fps down to slide show, as something in the system/sim can not use cpu right, i long time was without simulators, right now i back with rig upgrade, and i happy with new x64 p3d, ,but something still wrong with it... i thought first is at overload scenes sim read hd instead read ram, and i think i was right, but if i'm really right, why sim use more ram capacity? is it something about percentage of ram? so if i will got 128gb memory it will use 32gb instead 12 and 51 commit instead 17? but it is not so simple, as when i open cpu usage history, i can see as using only one core, sure only in the overload scenes, other scenes can just overload gpu(2080ti) btw my cpu at 5ghz is 9700k, so question is, what part of scenes overload one core, what stoped to use other cores, or i was right about ram usage, and so if i have 32gb i can use in real time only ~12? btw i use ram disk, but in settings set dynamicaly use memory, so it will use 24gb only if really need, for example if i extract something big, or write there something, i use it only for temporal files, so when i start p3d ram disk is almost empty... btw when i set ram disk 8gb situation same... and i think sim use hd instead ram but in same time cause of this - overloaded scene overload one core, what prevent use other part of cpu, if my question some cut - how impruve this and posible this or not?
found something interesting, as all know,restart pc give as some improve, but aren't all of us know how big it is, so believe me, this is huge... so i have one more question, is it exist some soft, what can make windows without restarting as restarted frash system? not very convinient restart windows befor every flight... thank you
