Re: Scenery folder in a separate drive ??

You can place scenery anywhere you want on your PC. I use my 2.5 scenery in v3.1. Just put your scenery library to the place where you've installed it. It could even be on a separte drive, a USB 3.0 drive for instance, but better is a fast SSD drive built into the PC. Happy landings.

Re: Performance decrease over time

You have an odd problem captain. Your specs are perfect, 60-70 degrees is hot but ok for the CPU [you could buy one of those ready made watercoolers, they will bring that heat down to say 50 degree max; costs:~ €60 ~ $71] You mentioned only P3D is on the disk. Does that account for the whole PC or j...

FLT Level

Hi, Appart from a new navdata base, it would be nice to have a feature in P3D where you can set lightlevels for ATC to use. E.G. in some countries the transition altitude is 3000ft, or even vary between 3000 and 10000 ft. Which make a hell of a lot of difference to the transition level of 18.000ft f...

Re: Update navigational databases

Google Herve Sors [aero.sors.fr] and you will find a uptodate nav data base for your sim. The only down side is that the Sim can't make a flightplan along airways no more because they will be removed [can be resett tot the 2004/2005 nav data base] This French guy is producing this data base every ne...

Re: Thin vertical white lines

could be your settings are too high and that they are indeed artifacts. I had lines like that using ORBX befor v2.5 with high settings. They originated from bridges.

Re: system reboot

I had strange PC crashes last summer. It crashed randomly, it crashed sometimes even in BIOS. The system powerd back on like yours. I rebuild the whole system but the fault reappeard. It turned out that my P3D disk [velociraptor] was dying. It died beyond repair and without the IT-specialist beinig ...

Re: Incomplete aircraft

If you have a copy of FSX you can import the complete aircraft folders straight over to P3d and have the Cessna, the CRJ etc. Happy landings Joost

Re: WINDOWS 10 UPGRADES

For a different reason than a not properly working P3D I uninstalled W10. I did an upgrade from W7 to W10 which took far longer than expected, but P3D worked perfectly for me under "10. Maybe in a month or so I will re-upgrade W7 to W10 again, it is okay as an OS and starts much better.

Iff you save a flight as startup flight, removing every thing after "Situation= " helps. It saved my day sometimes. Iff it were FSX, opening in Kiosk mode would also help, but it ain't X, so there is no kiosk mode. Iff you use the migration tool it helps putting back the saved folders by that tool [...

A search should start with the audio output settings i think.
But
There is an option in P3D taskbar>options>settings>general>air traffic control.
Try uncheckking all of the options.

Go to advanced search
