Re: KB4038788 crashes my P3D v3

Uninstalling the Microsoft update KB4038788 has proved successful in allowing P3Dv3.4.22.19868 to work. Leave it to Microsoft to build an OS that allows one to uninstall an update, only to have the update reinstall afterwards. Makes sense eh? To prevent this. Go into 'Services' and scroll down to '...

Re: KB4038788 crashes my P3D v3

So how do you prevent this from reinstalling when the PC does another update?

Cheers

Steve
Go to windows update, find the one you don't want, right click on it and it will let you hide the update.

Re: P3D v4 stutters after ~3-4 hours of flight

Can only speak for myself, but I'm running ActiveSky for P3Dv4 Use Task manager in windows, Resource monitor, check AS 16 and see what your CPU% for AS 16 is when you start getting stutters. It should be around 1%. If you see it rising as you fly, that may be your problem. I have two Copters where ...

[RESOLVED] Downloading hotfixes

Is there anyway to download the last hotfix for P3D version 3.4 without having to down load all 9.5 GB?

Re: Lake Hood (LHD) missing in the P3Dv4 scenery

I have version 3.4 with Orbx SE Alaska and i have Lake Hood, which I have flown into and out of in real life. I believe that I had it before I installed Orbx SE Alaska too. Looks pretty close to the real thing.

I seriously doubt that the MRT is causing your problem. It only affects the PC, when you run it.

Re: P3D Joystick Assignments / Doesn't exit

From much reading I have done on this issue, I believe this is a long standing bug in P3d.

Re: Which Joystick is the best for FSX and P3D?

Logitech 3D Pro is very stiff, and also uses potentiometers which are subject to drift. I switched from the 3D pro to the thrustmaster T 16000M about 8 months ago, which uses hall effect ICs that never drift, and is smooth as silk.

No repeat function in control settings.

I do see what is an apparent bug in 3.4 When setting controls, there doesn't seem to be anyway to have a key repeat the command when the key is held down. There is a column for repeat, but nothing in that column and no apparent way to set the key to repeat, for instance when setting elevator trim.

Been using this program for a week and about 18 flights, and it is the best ATC program I have found, and I have tried everyone there is.
