Re: Image out of focus when moving/panning

If you don't want to download any stuff here's an example I found on Youtube of the same "effect" I'm experiencing in P3D: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNTfnuBN-No
Is this just how things are and everybody is experiencing it or is there something wrong with the monitor?

Image out of focus when moving/panning

I just want to figure it out if the image I'm seeing is normal or not. Whenever I move/pan around the image becomes out of focus. I know that some of that is normal, it happens all the time on monitors but I feel that what I'm experiencing is way too much because it kinda makes my eyes hurt. I made ...

Re: 1/2 Refresh Rate Vsync

I don't know if it's possible in Win 10, see here: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/540531-windows-game-bar-and-nvidia-adaptive-v-sync-relation/ ? I had a conversation with this guy a while back on AVSIM... I did exactly what he said with Game bar and all that stuff. Didn't work. When I asked him...

Re: 1/2 Refresh Rate Vsync

Simple question. Once and for all... does 1/2 Refresh Rate Vsync setting in Nvidia Inspector have ANY effect in P3D v4? My response to this is it depends. It depends on so many factors due to the variety of hardware and software configurations. Well, I can't except this explanation. This is not "th...

Re: Strange Scenery library behaviour

Well, I deleted "scenery64index" but that didn't solve my issue.
If I use Lorby Addon Organizer than the layering works but as soon as I make any change directly in P3D v4 Scenery Library the issue is back again.

Reinstalling Client question

I just bought PTA and I'm getting this "ERROR: shader file ... is not original Prepar3D shader and can't be used" error. The solution provided is to reinstall P3D Client to get back original shaders. My question is will this reset any other things, settings, addons? Will I have to reinstall any oth...

Re: 1/2 Refresh Rate Vsync

I just wanted to know if 1/2 Refresh Rate Vsync has any effect in P3D v4 because it's supposed to be a known fact that this setting has absolutely no effect in P3D v4 since the program doesn't run in a true fullscreen mode which is required for it to function. Nevertheless, topics suggesting various...

Re: Strange Scenery library behaviour

I got the same problem earlier by adding sceneries by hand via scenery library. There is an easy work around. Just go to programdata-LM-P3Dv4 and delete the content of scenery64index. During next start all dat files will be rebuid and the sequence of your scenery will be back to normal. It only hap...

Re: Strange Scenery library behaviour

In Lorby Addon Organizer two are two violet (red?) entries - FSDreamteam Exclude and 0907 Base. Maybe it has something to do with the problem, I don't know.

Re: Strange Scenery library behaviour

Don't use the Scenery Library UI to mix in any order those items added via scenery.cfg and via addon xml files. I suspect you have created a mess trying to do so. All addon sceneries will be listed in levels above all sceneries added via scenery.cfg. The order they are added is in the order read, f...

Re: Strange Scenery library behaviour

Hello, The entries that are disabled are add-on.xml scenery entries and cannot be modified in this screen. Their layers will stay constant so any ordering changes will skip past them. We can look into why certain entries are swapping in this case. Do you see similar behavior if you move entries dow...

Strange Scenery library behaviour

Hi! I added some scenery in Scenery library by hand (per installation guide) and noticed something very strange going on when I tried to move the scenery up and down the list. One entry was inserted in between the other Add-on entries and the UK2000 entries were switching places. I tried to move it ...

Re: 1/2 Refresh Rate Vsync

Nobody is asking what this option does. I know what it does, many people know what it does, apparently you don't. That was not the question.

What is this, the twilight zone?

Re: 1/2 Refresh Rate Vsync

Hello, You can try setting the frame rate limit (within Prepar3D graphics options) to half of the refresh rate of your monitor for a similar effect. For example, if you have 60hz on your monitor you can set the frame rate limit to 30, etc. Also, it appears "Nvidia inspector" is not actually made by...
