Re: Rebuild scenery...

Do you have Orbx scenery? If yes, then you may have the library insertion incorrectly selected.

Re: CPU swap

I've changed out a 6700K for an 8700K and P3D could have cared less. Windows had a little work to do but nothing unexpected.

Re: HDD with P3D failed, Unable to reinstall "Invalid Drive"

Also, I tried looking for the codes within "Installer" in registry and I am unable to find the codes listed on the other forum post except the client one which might be because I started installing p3dv3 the other day, but stopped it. Don't mess with the registry unless you know what you are doing....

Re: P3dv4.5 stops loading in next airport to jump to

Are you waiting long enough? It's not a fast event, usually takes as long as a start from the beginning can take. I've used the Go To Airport function often with only a rare problem.. not frequent enough to classify as a problem. I suspect your system might make a difference in load time but not cau...

Re: P3D does not start after Win10 KB4515384 update

I've seen this update mess with one's audio and in another case rebooting the computer allowed P3D to start, and cases where that didn't help. Already seeing reports of problems with HID devices too. What a mess.

Re: HDD with P3D failed, Unable to reinstall "Invalid Drive"

I assume your P3D was installed to a drive designated T:\? You tried uninstalling P3D with Windows Settings>Apps and that failed because T:\ is gone? The post that you linked to will work the same for v4 and a v3 installation issue. The bottom line is that Windows uses a cached version of the applic...

Re: PBR/flashing black triangles

Umberto has provided a very thorough explanation I believe, and if you have the latest updates for the KORD product then the problem should be resolved.

Re: SimConnect 8,33 kHz spacing

The nav radios in the simulation are the old 25kHz spacing. SimConnect is not able to modify the old simulation. All on line services such as VATSIM are aware of this limitation in the simulation.

Re: Unable to perform ILS landing at Kord 27R

None of the FMS equipped PMDG products use any of the files created by the MakeRnwys tool. The FMS navdata comes from downloads from either Navigraph or Aerosoft. The MakeRnwys tool does create a file used by RAAS, which is not included with the NGX. Bottom line, if you are using default scenery the...

Re: New Install of Prepar3d V4

Are you saying that there are empty subfolders in the documents\prepar3d v4 addons\ folder? If they are empty you can delete those, but if they have an add-on.xml file in a subfolder then it is possibly an addon you thought you removed. I'd advise against removing the documents\prepar3d v4 addons\ d...

Re: Turbo prop Throttles

I'm not sure what you mean by too sensitive. When the throttle control is closed the simulation throttle is closed and when the control is open 100% the simulation throttle is open 100% and the response in between is linear. If not, then you have to calibrate your controller. This might have more to...

Re: Missing Airports In P3DV4

Using ADE I can find the default airports OITT and OITZ down to the bgl file in which they are located (Scenery\0702\Scenery\APX60180.bgl). Not sure why you cannot find them by searching the airports in P3D by ICAO code. I just tried both and found both.

Did you get the spelling of that dll module correct? Are you sure P3D is the one displaying the error message?

Re: Is this a P3D or ORBX problem

I notice that I have six PAGY scenery files associated with my Orbx SAK region, including object and placement files. My guess is that you have a duplicate PAGY AF file OR your Orbx is not properly installed as in not having the correct library insertion point.

Not a P3D issue.

Re: ATC runway selection

There is no such thing as a realistic ATC program. Traffic control is just too complex to be realistically simplified into an inexpensive program. There are several around that try, you may want to check out Radar Contact.
